Used this today, with meg QD (red bottle), during use, how do you clean. I rinsed it in water, then continued claying.

I also used traditional clay, so as to judge, the new Cobra Mit.

Now that clay is completed, does the Cobra go into the wash with MF's? Or how do you clean it for next use?

Thanks
Rico

I think this is a great unanswered question here.

I wouldn't throw it in the wash thought.

I have always tried to agitate mine (different brand) clay mitt against the grit guard while using and then also clean with a brush, Dawn, and warm water after.

I recently used my Opitmum heavy grade Opti-Towel. It has a light colored surface and shows the contamination on it well. I tried to clean the towel with the method above and some of it came off. I had to scrub hard remove what I did.

This is after I clayed one bad section of rim.

I just rinse mine well after hitting it with a spray of mf cleaner, then I let it air dry after wringing it out.

All of the clay alternative seem to wash out the same way. Rinse it down good. Brush it down with a soft brush if you feel like it. Ring it out. Let it dry.
