Cobra Guzzler not where its at??

If your paint is getting scratched with a Guzzler did you ever think it could be that the car or towels aren't 100% clean??? I have Guzzlers too. There nice, not amazing, and possibly a bit overpriced. But I just can't see how a clean MF towel that's fairly high quality gently drying a wet car instills scratches. I have all types of drying towels, and one of my favorites comes from Autozone, but I never had even a lousy one cause scratches. Maybe spritz the towel and the car with some ONR to give them some "lube" before drying (just a little). That's what I do and it seems to keep everything scratch free.
 
Trying out the miracle dryer one of these days, looked a lot more plush in pictures.. Lol
 
I have the guzzler towels. I would say they are average at best. I have washed mine and did not get any better results. Just my 2 cents.
 
Anyone try cg the wooly mammouth? Or Adams drying towel ?
 
I got the free Guzzler on the recent promo, I didn't think much of it, at first. I usually use my Masterblaster to dry (hands down my favorite tool), but I just did a quick wash on my Suburban and didn't feel like dragging out the blower. Grabbed the Guzzler stuck my hands in the pockets and dragged it around the car, I was very impressed. Two passes around the car and it was dry, I am puzzled by the bad reviews. I might not use it on a show car, but for my daily driver it works great.

My Cobra Guzzlers are great towels especially after they've been used and washed a few times. I find these towels very soft and have never had them scratch or marr any finish...:dblthumb2:

Like a mixture of everyone else I LOVE my Guzzlers! I have at least one of every size and even the Gold HD one. But my only too complaints are that I need at least 2 to dry my Corolla which isn't much car to dry. And second that mine seem to work great when I first get them but over time they don't absorb nearly as much water :( I want a Master Blaster :)
