Cobra MF towels

Ok so I have heard great raves on Cobra MF towels. So I picked up some of the Gold ones, the grey 530s,the purple 600's and some of those chinchillas.... They all feel great but the purple 600's just don't feel as soft as the others.

Is this normal?

So far the gold ones and chinchillas are my favorite..
 
the Chincillas are softer indeed, but the purple ones should be plenty soft and have two sides. Perhaps washing them before use will help ??
 
What?! My purple MF towels are much softer than the Gold ones!
 
I've made it a habit to wash mine when I get them. Not sure that they really need it, just something I started doing.
 
I always wash all my towels before use. I now got into the habbit of washing them with Pinnacle microfiber detergent to keep them clean and soft.
