Cobra Supreme Guzzler Vs. the ShamWow

Any reason why you aren't blotting the paint with the Guzzler to
further avoid marring/swirls? Just my 2 cents. :buffing:

I just don't normally do that... Although I would admit that I could see where that might be a better technique esp with the ShamWow. Do you have any experience with Blotting Vs. Wiping when using something like the Guzzler? Do you think it would make a difference?

So my long term test results for this product were conducted on an older Saturn that was not in the greatest condition...

That being said I used a LOT of caution when using the ShamWow as it does not have a thick napp and its not very "soft" at all. For the demo videos that you see I used my Volvo that had a very clean surface and a highly waxed surface so there was no marring. If there is one thing to take away from this review it would be NOT to use the ShamWow simply due to the risk of scratching the paint I did this simply for testing, in controlled conditions.

I heard Saturn. Which model Saturn are we talking here? I'm a Saturn S-series lover.

I had a 2004 Saturn Vue Red Line, I loved that car!!! It was a great car had about 130,000 miles on it however towards the end of my ownership everything on it started braking all at once lets see...

1. Torque converter needed to be replaced.
2. Heated front seat melted a whole right through, burned my ass lol.
3. CD Player would not work.
4. Sharp turns would cause the some of the speakers to stop working.
5. Front brakes needed to be replaced.
6. A wheel hub was bad.
7. I was pretty sure there was something wrong with the AWD system as well, but I had not had this confirmed by a mechanic.
8. Tires needed to be replaced as well.

Pretty much all of that stuff went bad on the car in about a months time frame and it was due for an inspection. So rather then dump a ton of money into esp the transmission I decided to get rid of it and buy my current car, Volvo S60.

Little known fact...
The 2004 to 2007 Saturn Vue Red Lines used Honda yes Honda engines and transmissions, 250HP 242lb Torque. Story goes (I was told this by a Honda mechanic so not sure if this 100% correct) that in Japan Honda needed diesel engines so they worked up a trade with Chevrolet... Chevrolet would give them diesel engines and Honda would give them the J35A3 that was used in the Saturn Vue Red Line from 2004 to 2007.
