Coin-Op Rinse only In Winter?

Winter or not, I never use the brush. Doesn’t matter if people rinse it beforehand or whatnot. In my opinion, too many contaminants.

I simply rinse and air dry through touchless. If those are closed down I just rinse only and wipe down door jambs quickly in the bay with MF towels. This regimen is repeated typically weekly, but worst case scenario is every two weeks, regardless of the weather.

While I waited in line for the touchless wash yesterday, I was watching people in the self-serve bays. Every vehicle was as filthy as mine (or worse) and encrusted with salt since it was the first day above freezing since before Christmas. The brushes don't get rinsed out, so the salt and grime from each car kept building up vehicle after vehicle... The brushes aren't very soft either. I'd use them on my rubber floor mats, but nothing else.
