Cold weather blues

Swanicyouth, I tried one of those high pressure water/soap only car washes last Saturday after we made a trip the Amish area of PA on Friday during the storm and got a look at my car on Saturday morning. I've never seen one before in central NJ where we came from. Of course nothing beats a good two bucket home wash but for what it is, I was pleasently surprised.

What part of central jersey? I can think of 2 places off the top of my head

Gary Dean Wash Method. 2 gallons of rinseless and just keep using clean towels.

Yup. At the pay-n-spay I just use their water sprayer and enclosed shelter (on 3 sides). I have a pressure washer and hose set up at home, but don't like to use it too frequently. I'm sure "car washing" is against the rules where I live.

Surprisingly, I've never received the letter in the door stating that.
 
I feel your pain also. I just uncovered my chevelle because i really wanted to use the rupes. I polished the whole thing and put a coat of BFWD on it. I wasn't going to do it till spring but i just couldn't wait.

This is the one time of year that I'm okay with not having a classic car (as much as I want one). Looking at it and not being able to take it out would just add to the "blues"
 
Finally got to break my blues a little. Weather warmed up enough today to wash clay and put down a coat of cleaner wax to egt me through the next month or 2
