Tried it for the first time after reading all the reviews here. It was fairly easy to remove if you don't let it dry too long. Gave my car a wash one week after putting on 1 coat of 476 and I was amazed. Everyone said that it beads water like mad, but it is even more impressive in person. Spray it down with a hose and giant water beads flee from the car like the citizens of Tokyo running from Godzilla. I think I even heard little screams from the water beads as they scrambled off the car.

Just wanted to thank this forum for turning me on to this product. The finish looks great too.

Wait to you see how long it last, I don't know what the heck Collinite uses in their waxes but they last longer than a sealant for the most part.

I spread it on really thin using a PC. Would it help much to do a second coat. I notice a lot of people do 2 coats, but not sure if it's worth the effort.

true that. It really lasts quite a while, quite a long while that it. I top off DG #105 with 476S for ultimate winter protection.

Most often two coats are put on to ensure full coverage, rather than additional protection.:buffing:

Thats good to know. I'm pretty sure I got it covered pretty well on the first coat. I won't bother with the second coat. Thanks!

Well since I couldnt make up my mind I purchased both the 476 and 845 I havent had a chance to use either yet, but I think I"II save the 845 for spring

I did a bunch of research and the 476 is supposed to last longer than the 845. The 476 is a paste wax so it's a bit more work to remove.

So it's been about 4 weeks, 3 car washes and 2 rainy days. This pic doesn't do it justice, I've never seen anything bead like this.

Collinite FTW!
Im at about a month and a half with similar results, it fun to drive in the rain with it
