Decided to strip the car down since I was needing to do some correction on the top of the car and wanted to try some other new LSPs on the car.
Car is a 00 Honda Accord with 208k on the odometer. 2 Layers of Collinite 845 on top of 2 layers of BFWD. The last layer of 845 was applied about 2 months ago.
Just did the left half of the hood. This was with 2 applications of Eraser. There is still some beading left, but you can definitely tell that it does strip the wax somewhat.
This is post rinse after being washed down with 1oz of Dawn and 3oz of Megs APC+ in 3 gallons of water. It still beads like a boss!
IMO, Collinite 845 is just hard to beat. I have tried a lot of different boutique waxes out there, and personally can not tell the difference between each one, even on a 50/50 application. I do notice that some do not last as long as others.
