After applying 2 coats of 845 to my vehicle, I noticed that it did not bead as much after the first rain storm. It almost looks as if the wax was eaten away by the elements outside. I washed and used a clay bar before application, but did not follow up with a compound/polish. Not sure if that would affect the results. Has anyone encountered this issue before?

I have never had any issues with 845 I would polish, if there is pollen or dirt on the paint beading world be diminished.

Like said above, dust and pollen on the car reduce the surface tension and does not allow the water to bead up.

I can happen pretty quick around here this time of year.

Pollen is an absolute beading and sheeting killer even after a heavy rain. Try washing the vehicle and seeing if the beading and sheeting return.

Thanks, you guys are awesome! There's probably a ton of pollen on my car so I'll see if the wash helps.
