Collinite 845 on windows?

Bobby How's does it stand up in the winter up here in New England with the calcium cloride they drop down on the highways like on 195 or 495 just curious. Ive always waxed my side windows on my Avalanche but not on the winshield never thought the durbility would be as got as Aquapel on my customer cars I just use rain x or Castrol waterpel and Cleaner.

Hey Steve,

It seems to hold up pretty well. I wouldn't say that it holds up nearly as long on my windshield as it does my hood but then again the hood doesn't have wipers trying to take it off every time they cycle.

I've used Rain-X in the past but never Aquapel so I can't compare it to that. In the end I don't think anythings lasts all that long on a windshield here in new England during the winter but it does add a layer of protection.
 
Thankfully the winter wasn't that bad but a little sick of this rain .Everytime I clean my Avalanche it rains within 2 days . I scored a 6pack of aquapel 2 years ago.I got about 4 monthes out each treatment after using window polish troughly clean it first. I'll have to give 845 a try.

Great idea! I'll pick up some aquapel and give it a try too, who knows, it may work even better!
