Collinite 845 problems.

i leave mine on for no more that 5 minutes and never have had an issue in 35 years.
 
I also have difficulty with 845 but still love using it. The areas that I allowed to dry I just sprayed some QD in it and wiped off. I no longer allow to dry. I apply it with a microfiber pad and WOWO method with equal results. I love the look and durability of 845 and to "cure" it after my WOWO method I allow it to sit for a day.
