Collinite 845 Surprise Winner in Auto Express Car Wheel Wax Test

Doesn't surprise me. It's been on my wheels for 4 months now. As far as I can tell its still there.

Not a suprise to me at all. Cool article and unlike other write ups on rating products, this one seems to have ligitimacy.

Good Post!

Beauty, Longevity and Durability. Cheaper than boutique lines. Add Duragloss !! What more can you say !!!!

:wow:

Collinite 845 is a true, proven winner in my book...
I sure don't need any verification from an Auto Express awards process.

BTW...
I wonder if: "The Turtle's" and Simonize's car-care products are formulated differently for some European markets than they are for, say: The USA?

True, or not, Auto Express must seem to think so!

Unbelievable product period. At it's price point, there is no, and never will be a substitute....well, maybe one day, but not right now.:props:

This seems to be one of the most highly regarded LSP's I've seen out there. It's on my list of products I need to pick up, thats for sure!

I never tried 845 on the wheels but looks awesome on the paint.

They should have included Opti Coat for a true winner.

Collinite, best bang for the buck wax! IME, just like Duragloss, best bang for the buck sealant.

I wonder why they didn't try the #496 ( Super Double Coat) instead? That should be more durable. I was uncertain which one to use strictly for durability, so I actually e-mailed Collinite about it. They responded that the 496 has more durability. The Liquid wax was easier to use.

You mean 476s right?? Regardless 476s,845,915 the job will get done! ;') why they used 845 who knows? yes 476s is collinite's most durable maybe it was 845 for ease of use. As was said in the other posts Duragloss/Collinite two great products :dblthumb2: and at a tremendous $$ to boot can't go wrong!!!

I have trouble remembering all the random numbers :o. I am much better with names.

Collinite 845 is one of these inexpensive waxes that keeps defying the odds. It's a quality wax with outstanding gloss characteristics and it's durability is legendary. For me it's my last step protection before a long hard New England winter.....:props:

Well this makes me feel even better. I have new wheels coming in in the next couple weeks and plan to put at least 2 coats of 845 on them before i install them.
