Collinite 845, VERY good stuff...

I'd never used until this morning. Popped a few blue pads on the cyclo, dunked the bottle in hot water to thin it, added a few drops and went to town. It does spread beautifully. Nice even coating on the cyclo. You could probably do an entire car with four drops. I wasn't sure if I had enough to do the other side, so I looked back on here and saw the "touch the glass" trick....sure enough there was more than enough on the pads, so I had at it.

It looks like it doesn't give a hard time around trim, signal lights, etc as for caking, or leaving white residue. Definitely takes a while to dry, but man, this stuff is cake to work with. I can't wait to wipe it off and snap a few pics!

I am also curious to how durable it is. This vehicle was always protected by Zaino which did fairly well through the winters here in CT. 476S might go on top of this...not sure yet.

Yes sir, I agree. Collinite is great stuff! Everyone says it lasts a long time. I just used it so I can't comment on longevity, yet.

It's probably the easiest product(Final product) I've ever used. Not sure if the cyclo had anything to do with that? or that I carefully selected the right amount of product to finish the surface with. Either way, now it's time to see how durable it is on this outside kept, daily driver. . If all it takes is a few dots to apply the wax to an entire vehicle, this bottle is going to be around a while. LOL, I kind of like having to put the bottle in warm water to thin it . Call me crazy. I'm pulling the car outside to check it out now as I also did a quick bottled water test, and simply giggled and smiled! The water had NO chance!

I love the stuff. It's almost too easy! Pop a few dots on the pads and let the cyclo do the work? If that's the recipe, I'm not complaining!! Now time will tell to see how long it lasts. As mentioned above, this vehicle is not garaged so it's exposed to the elements 24/7. I want to wash it in two months to see how it's doing.(If it's warm enough)

Collinite 845 is one of those little secrets that costs very little and performs beautifully. It not only makes the finish look spectacular, it protects through a long, cold, snowy New England winter and lasts for 5 months! rops:

Just used some today on my boat when I pulled it out of the water for the summer. This stuff will easily last through the entire winter for me.

thanks BobbyG! when the vehicle is THIS clean and glossy, i don't want to drive it! LOL! my sister is in for a real treat when she returns home from FL tomorrow . and regarding using this stuff on boats? you know it's durable when it can be applied to a vessel!

It's probably the easiest product(Final product) I've ever used.

When you have to dunk it in hot water, is it really easy to use?

What other products are more difficult (or have a trick) to use?

I normally let it sit 3/4 of the way to the top in warm water. It doesn't take long....then shake, shake, shake and you should be ready to go.
