The wife and I were cleaning out storage this week and found several baby items. We're finished with the baby stage so started collecting a donation bag.

As I came across this, I was reminded of Mike's article on the proper prep of Collinite 845 - warming and shaking the bottle before using it.

My Collinite bottle warmer - formerly a baby bottle warmer. Thinking I might need to paint it all black or something. Takes a bit of water, the wax sits in it and in less than five minutes, liquid 845!

Great idea to use the baby bottle warmer for the 845.

Wait a minute! Aren't we carrying this too. This is not rocket science.

I suppose if you have a bottle warmer sitting around doing nothing.... why not.

Of course you can just stick a 2 oz bottle in your pocket.

Nice find and making use of something that you don't use anymore.

I believe Kristopher1129 has a coffee warmer or something similar that he keeps his clay in when it's cold out.

Why didn't any of you guys think of this sooner!!

Genius!! :dblthumb2:

When I first read about it, I thought that I might try using my wife's wax warmer to if I ever decided to give Collinite a try. I think the baby bottle warmer is a much better idea.

Cool find! I think Mrs07 has one of these around somewhere......she NEVER throws anything out!

I'll be on the hunt tomarrow.....

Great idea, I usually just sit mine in the sun for a while

Must hate rainy or cold days then huh?? Lol!

I have an electric Potpurri burning pot laying around that I got for $9.00 once but I think it would get too hot.

my 845 warmer is transfer it to a 2-4ounce bottle and stick it in my pocket works great and dont use electricity, or if its too cold i put it right at the waist band of my boxers touching my skin LOL

Great tip!

I live in Texas, put it outside the front door for a couple minutes and you're good to go.
