My 845 is never solid; always fluid in 50-70 degree basement. Milky? Always. So last weekend I went to a Marine store and saw several bottles of 845. They were all pretty solid, similar to a paste. They definitely needed to be heated prior to use. Not my bottle, it's ready to go every time.

I suspect the person that gave me the 845 added something to it to make is seem like I was getting a full bottle. I mean, it is never, ever solidifying. Would appreciate feedback. I would love to maintain positive intentions with this person but man it is so hard every time I see another bottle of 845.

Mine was chuncky when i got it in the original bottle but would turn to liquad with some shaking. I then put it in a meguairs ketchup style bottle and now it hardly ever isnt liquad.

Solid at the beginning, when I shake it for the first time it stays liquidish.

Mine came pretty solid and is still solid when not warmed up. Maybe they added some mineral sprit or whatever its called, to it? I thought I read somewhere where people would add to it to keep it from becoming solid to apply "better" in a spray bottle

I've gotten some bottles that are solid most of the time and others that are liquid. I sent an e mail to Collinite in the past and never got an answer. They both work. It seems like the percent of solids varies from batch to batch.

OK, so the net of this feedback is that it can go either way. Very strange. Thanks all.

Up to 85 both of mine are somewhat solid If I take them up to 95 or so they become liquid... regardless of viscosity these have always worked great...:props:

I remember when I first opened the bottle I had some difficulties to get the staff out because I did not know that it should be warmed up prior to use.
For the second time i warmed it up as i saw somewhere in this forum, ever since then the content remains more like liquid.

I heat my 845 in the microwave. Shake well and it's ready to use. Works for me.

mine was chunky and solid when i bought it on bogo 2 years ago. now the one bottle i have left is always liquid. i think you're fine.
