It won't leave a white stain, IME. As long as you wipe off the residue you should be fine.

I don't think #845 has any cleaners in it...
 
It will not stain the trim as long as you don't leave it on there. If your applying it and get some on the trim, I typically just finish that section then go back and wipe the trim real quick. No issues with staining or anything.
