I bought a pint of collinite 845 and it looks like the content is not all the way to the top. I wonder if the place that sold it to me sent me a used one. Here is a picture of the collinite I bought and where the red mark indicates the top of the content

Thanks

Most reputable businesses stay in business by not practicing what you have alleged. Since you didn't list your supplier or how much you have invested in this purchase...I'd say, don't expect legitimate business practices from eBay, or the guy selling crap from his trunk.

Did this guy send me a used one then? Is the content suppose to go to the top? Yes I bought it at ebay.

One US pint=16 oz.

1. Pour the contents into a measuring cup
2. If it's 16 oz. your OK
3. If not, and your still displeased...what was the seller's return policy

I just bought a bottle from auto geek and its filled to the top. I think your bottle was used or some leaked out. Tell the seller. Looks like you have 15oz

I just checked a new bottle, it looks about like yours. Maybe slightly more. Did you shake it up?

The stuff last forever since you use very little to do a car

I am confused now. One says filled to the top the other says it the same as mine. Which one is correct? Can you guys post pic of your new bottle?

Buying things on EBay requires allot of praying regarding honesty and integrity. What EBay really is, is an electronic online Flea Market and we all know how honest vendors are at a local Flea Market.

If I remember correctly these bottles are sealed with nothing more than a screw on cap therefore I suspect some may have been used.

For $14.99 you could have purchased new through Autogeek and would be assured that the bottle you receive is new and unopened.

How much did this cost you including shipping and handling from your EBay source?

mine was same bottle.. 1 pint and despite being imported to India from the US.. It was filled with liquid wax upto the brim!

You still haven't measured your bottle of #845 yet to ascertain the exact quantity contained therein?

What if your about an ounce short...Are you still begrudging the possibility the seller might have shorted you $1.06 worth of your money and/or product out of this bottle?

If so, evidently....You still haven't contacted the seller?

You must not want to take your time and effort to do any of the above. Then:
Live with it. Or not. Your choice.

$14.99? Other eBay sellers have #845 for $16.00 and they throw in a couple of microfiber towels. But they might have been used before. You just never know.

It's no wonder your bottle was filled to the brim....I may be mistaken, but doesn't Bill Gates personally take care of all orders placed to India? J/K :)

Hmm when its describe as brand new and fresh it should be brand new not 1 ounce short. 1 ounce short to 2 million customer is a huge difference.

Something good did come out this after all. Thanks for the tip!!! Just got off the phone with my financial advisor....I told him to buy, buy, buy!
He agreed that investing in companies that prey on the innocent was a very good idea...but just for the short haul. :D

I confess, it was me. The only prob is I now have 2 million ounces of 845 sitting around in buckets. Could everyone please send me your empty 845 bottles?

Sometimes a lot of it gets clumped up around the cap area. Have you warmed up the bottle and shaken the ever loving crap out of it?

If there was a clump in the cap area I doubt if it would move or add significantly to the content. Mine was very liquified without warm water and yes I shook the crap out of it.

In all fairness the guy at ebay resolve the issue and so I am happy.

Put the bottle in the sun before use or a warm bucket of water. I use ONR to wash and warm water. so after washing, i drop the bottle in the bucket while I clay. Its a thin liquide by the time I use it. also use a different top. I use a meg ulimate compound lid, those flip up tops. They work well, unless 845 is to thick.

Is that like a ketchup bottle you put the collinite in? I am thinking of doing the same.
