Just recieved my first container of 845. when I first opened the bottle it was thick and chunky. I shook it and began using it. shaking, then applying, shaking & applying.
I came back today to lay down a second layer and it was thin, exstreemly thin and runny.
almost like colored water.
is this normal ? did I recieve a bad bottle? I would appreciate some help from the long time Collinite users

Perfectly normal, shake it around 2 minutes before using.

845 and just sitting around for a while will tend to get thick , harden up some , get a little chunky . when applying it to vehicle it should be fairly thin , watery like . shake it shake it shake it , or put the bottle in the sink with some hot water for a little bit and it will all get runny again . perfectly normal .

Very common and the common solution....:props:

Warm it up like a baby bottle.....I use it in a catsup squeeze bottle....works perfect...

I was so excited when I bought mine on my last order, however I forgot to purchase squeeze bottles! Ugh

Hmmm wonder if I could reuse an old cap from another bottle? It might fit.

Both my 845 and my Metal Wax bottles have flip-top caps from Dawn bottles. Thread is identical and they meter product perfectly.

I used the cap of a really old bottle of Meguiars Liquid 26, it fit perfectly!

Yeah I was going to use the cap off my empty bottle of meguiars cleaner wax, I believe it's that same cap that you have in that picture.

Also works great out of a sprayer head. That is how I use it. Spray your pad and get to waxing.

Never understand how people use the forum to find this great wax but don't manage to find out about how it is thin or gets thick etc.
