Collinite questions and official answer

Cardaddy, you are welcome to knock on my door anytime. In fact the Barrett-Jackson show is walking distance from my house. Come on over!
:dblthumb2:

Brad buddy.... be careful what you wish for. :D
Easily, probably in the top 3 of my 'bucket list' is to spend a week at Barrett-Jackson one year. I just can't tear myself away from the TV coverage... watching every minute. Watch on-line at times, and sometimes study auction results for fun even. So you say "OCD MUCH?"

That's another experiment for another time. Don't want to skew the present experiment but I will do it if you want to pick me up a Challenger Hell Cat. In fact I will even see if I can find the time to go get it once you have all the paper work done :dblthumb2:

What's that beast got to do with it? :dunno:
I have a guy that used to live up the street, collects everything fromm 60's & 70's muscle to stuff in the last 10 years. I was down at his place a few months back doing his black/gold 14 Viper (which replaced the 09 red one), which he has parked in the garage with his 71 Road Runner (725 HP at the wheels, runs on 112 octane racing fuel), as well as a 72 340 WEDGE Duster. He *had* a lime green with blackout hood Hellcat ordered since the first of September and finally gave up on it back in March and bought a triple black one. Now that's 4 of his 5 Dodge/Chrysler rides in one garage. He has another Road Runner, a 72 that he did nut and bolt restoration done in memory of his wife (not seen that one yet).

Lest he be accused of discrimination, he has a RS/SS Camaro (white w/orange stripes), a 70 LS6 Chevelle in black, a 2010 Z06 in yellow, is on his second C7 this year, and also has a 2012 GT500 in Kona Blue. These are just the few I've seen. There are others of course, and big ol' pickups of course to pull a big ol' enclosed trailer back and forth to car shows. He was thinking of a new Ford GT, but the V6 and stratospheric price doesn't excite him. He had reserved one of the few last gen GT40's but the dealership sold it from underneath him. (He didn't really care back then, but NOW he's kicking himself being as they are the only cars of late that actually MAKE money, as in they make a BOATLOAD of money.)

He'd be a good one to do testing with, just that he never drives the cars. He also isn't one for heavy detailing. Wash, dry, put some spray wax on it and he's good to go. As he says, "As long as it's shiny I could care less". :dunno: That old saying, "Doesn't know a swirl from a squirrel" applies to him FOR SURE!

Cardaddy, move on in during B/J week.

You guys like the muscle shite.
I drive put-puts

Hey Cardday, do the 601 / Collinite experiment on your buddy's car down the street. At least that way you can touch his wheels.:xyxthumbs:

Tell you what Brad.... You talk mama into letting us move in for a week, and I'll work on talking my back/back surgeons (plural) into getting me ready for that deal.

Oh I wouldn't need to 601, to touch his wheels. when I get my hands on it the wheels will be coated for sure!

One step forward 10 steps back here lately however. snapped my lower back out again in the yard early yesterday evening. I was halfway bent over and it locked up and spazzed. I couldn't fall down... I couldn't stand up!!! This was all on the same side (right) where I had my L 5 surgery last year about this time. (Not the left SI where they want to operate now.) FINALLY managed to get to sleep around 4:30 and have been up since 7;00!!!!!! :(

Yup 10 steps back... waaaaay back.
