Collinite - Too Good!

It looks like I need to give 476 a shot at some point. I'm at 14 weeks on the 845 and it still beads like crazy. Winter weather has set in here in the NW, and I've been traveling a lot, so I've only washed the car 4-5 times since giving it two coats of 845, which probably helps its durability. I also give the car a spritz of spray wax as a drying agent, which undoubtedly helps, too.

I'm sort of "dumb", when it comes to many of the hi-tech space age sealants now available, but, after using Collinite 476 for about a good 20-22 years now, I think I have this wax down pretty well.

I commonly apply to the whole vehicle, and by the time I have finished applying to the last panel, the wax will be ready to remove.

It looks like I need to give 476 a shot at some point, if only for giggles and grins. It sounds like it lends itself to application with a dual-action buffer, which can put wax on really thin. Has anyone tried applying it by machine?

I'm at 14 weeks on the 845 and it still beads like crazy (when the car's clean--even the best wax can do only so much!). Winter weather has set in here in the NW (rain), and I've been traveling a lot, so I've only washed the car 4-5 times since giving it two coats of 845, which probably helps its durability. I also give the car a spritz of spray wax as a drying agent, which undoubtedly helps, too.

476 also works great on wheels and windows. I put a nice coat on and then let it dry for about 20 mins. A little bit of a PIA to remove but the dirt/brake dust just comes right off. Windows and wheels look cleaner with a simple wash.
