I just had a new windshield put on and I was wondering if I could put some Collonite 845 on it so I don't have to worry about it for a while? I want it to bead up like no tomorrow! :) Especially with these Florida rains! Will it hurt or effect the windshield if I apply it?
Thanks in advance!

Yes you can put 845 on, I put wolfgang sealant on mine, it works great

I think somethink that sheets would be more of a benifit than something that beads, at least on windows...

Collinite 845 can be used yes, but why not try your favorite sealant on one half and Collinite 845 on the other half...

I like that idea. Should I have to reapply it often? Or should it pretty much last as long as the windshield?

You're kidding, right? If you don't use the wipers it will last a few months, if you use the wipers, less.

Because of the wiping action these coatings will not last as long as they typically do protecting your paint. If you find they work well for you then evaluate every 2 to 4 weeks and go from there.

For long lasting glass protection I really like Aquapel.....

Will Stoners IG remove 845 or WGDGPS?
