I got a tin for a gift at Xmas and have not used it yet and was wondering what people thought of this wax...
 
I have it and used it a couple of weeks ago on my truck with great results. Just make sure you apply it very very very thin or else you will have a heck of a time removing the wax.
 
I just started using it my self with very good results!

-I enjoy applying Collinite #915 atop the Klasse Twins and listening to the OOHS & AHHHS
from folks being totally enraptured by the boffo-reflections a vehicle then exudes.

-Those same reflections, I'll add, from which I also find difficult to tear myself away.


Also:
-Depending upon your current chronological age; and, with the: "Thin is In" approach...
Your Christmas gift of the tin of #915 may last a life-time.

-It "will", then, IMHO: Act as a perfect legacy-gift...for the heirs-apparent.

Been using Collinite products for over 30 years. Nothing will bead like it.
 
How does the look and durability of 915 compare to the look and durability of 476???
 
I think you get a warmer look with 915 but you get more durability with 476. 476 seems a little harder to wipe off. I don't let 476 dry very long. I do one panel at a time. 915 I do 2-3 panels at a time. 845 I do the whole car and then go back to the beginning.
 
I believe Dr Olds says durability goes 476 > 915 > 885 - and that guy knows a lot about wax!

I just got some 915 as well and probably won't be using it until next winter.
 
I've used 915,476, and 845. Durability goes 476, 845, 915. Looks go 915, 845, 476

I have used 476, 915, and 845. They are all very durable. 476 is the most, then 915, then 845. The standout is still 845, because it is ridiculously easy to apply and remove. 915 over 845 is a very nice combo.
 
Thanks guys!!! In all my years I have never been a fan of 845 .. I always used 1000p in winter until I used duragloss this past winter. I am anxious to try 915 now ..
 
Great wax that's often overlooked - better durability and looks than the often-touted 845.
 
Want to be totally blown away... Put 915 on top of Duragloss 105. I defy any combo out there to match the cost and the wow factor of them.

DG 105 sealant .. About $10
915... Under $30 in most places.

That's what I'm talking about. Oh and by the way...I'm talking 9 months of protection easily with that combo.

My car is currently wearing that combo, it is a sight to behold. Now I am going to try 915 over DG111 next.

I'd like to try this but I am currently using Collinite's 845. Once the 845 wears down, can I go right over it with the DG 105 and then apply the 915?

Better to clay the car and then apply the combo
