Color darkening

Not illegal if I put the cover on.

•I only really need to paint the hood
-(but it isn't going to match the rest
of the car.)
•It has 131 k
•warped rotors all around
•bald spots on the tire tread
•a questionable transmission
•the cooling system needs work
-(but did not overheat)
•and an abs fuse.

•I don't plan on using this car for
anything else but being parked.
Then, IMO: to complement the above
Winning-Whip(ped) appearance...
you'll need this appearance package:

Good one Bob

I can just have Uncle Bob sit on the hood and I'll wrap a chain around the control arm which costs alot less than 19.95

But that won't make it look low and mean like with Bob's kit.

Ok but I have a valve core removal tool in my car which cost 50 cents at a swap meet.

I don't want to pimp my ride it's a ghetto blaster and I don't want to attract any attention.

Good idea... in that case add more food coloring to remain incognito.

I don't know of any better ideas besides shoe polish which is bad for paint. Someone left 4 boxes of saltines on my car by the ocean and when I got back it was covered. Good luck or not it's not ok for the paint.

Of all the cars I had this was my favorite.

How much is the lowering kit? I think I got one free.

Ya know something? I was just thinking...

We all ask the question "is my LSP gone?". I was thinking that to guage the longevity of an LSP on say a white vehicle, we take some coloring and mix it into the LSP in an inconspicuous small spot. You're essentially mixing something into the wax or sealant and I would guess it's suspended within. When the color's gone the LSP is gone!

No?

Sorry...LSP = Last Step Product, the wax, sealant or coating you use last to protect the paint.

So your saying to don't make it permanent? I also need to buff this a little.

The food coloring is probably suspended in the wax you used. I can't imagine it is a permanent color addition to the paint.

I always use rubbing compound before paint because numbers matching paint is more valuable.
