Have you ordered it yet. If not get it done and get started. You wont regret it.

Kinda got a lot going on. Bathroom remodel, and dong some work on the Porsch so its in pieces right now. I think AG emailed me a coupon so I may buy the "GG" this week. Will hopefully be able to post some results in a couple of weeks.

I was going to get the GG pkg for 199 and start with those products.

That wouldnt be a bad place to start if you have nothing and are only doing your own car with only light swirls. You will need clay, quick detailer, microfiber towels, polishes (notice plural) and wax. That kit is a good deal for a starter package.

If you are planning a small detailing business, you will need more than that kit offers. You will need several pads to complete a full car, esp if there is any moderate damage. That kit will handle light swirls. MAchine polish 3 is a mild polish.

Do some research on this site. Lake Country 5.5 in pads (a couple of orange, couple white, maybe a green for all in one "cleaner waxes" and a blue or red for wax application), a 5 inch backing plate and some more aggressive polishes would probably serve your needs better than that starter kit. Most people are fans of Meg's 105/205 twins or the Menzerna line. These polishes are easy to use and get good results with.

Come back here if your research doesn't clarify it for you and someone will be happy to give you more detail.

The initial cost will be higher than you like. but, just a couple of details should help you recover that cost.

I do have some cleaning products already. This is my 1st venture into machine polishing. Think Ill take a snap shot of my supplies and post it.

The Griot's will vibrate a LOT less if you use 5.5" pads as a side tip. You'll also get faster correction.

Subscribe..............thx. for the info.

See ya.
