OPT website looks like trash, a kid with crayons could do a better job.
One thing person learns when growing up is to never judge things based on their outside appearance. Besides, when is the last time you designed Web site?

It always seems like you are challenging me Zoranc, and i feel the same way about other members as well. Some people just come in and give me the info i want and answer my question, but some people come in and blablabla, and they dont help.
Yes, challenging you to think logically and to do your homework. "Giving the info one wants" is called spoonfeeding, it never results in person that is able to be independent. As the free form interpretation of old proverb goes "give man a fish today when he is hungry and he will starve to death tomorrow when you are not around, teach him how to fish and he might not like he has to work himself for that fish but he will not die and you will not have to carry him on your shoulders for the rest of the life".

Do I have first dibs on your Menzerna? Or should I wait till you decide to throw away Optimum line too so I can get deal on the bundle? I will gladly take them both.

You seem to think i do no research of my own, when infact i spend hours infornt of this screen trying to learn as much as i can.

Joy--I think what you may be feeling is maybe a little backlash against having strong opinions without having a broad experience or knowledge base. You don't need to look beyond your posts in this thread for support of that.

But you are correct that if people don't like it, that's just tough for them.

Keep on buffing, brother! I love your enthusiasm.

P.S. FWIW, I didn't think the Optimum Website was exactly trash. How do others differ? They show the product, the price, what it is designed to do, etc. Anything more is just razzle-dazzle overblown claims and marketing. It sounds like you are complaining that you weren't marketed to well enough with promises of a secret non-dusting one-step process used exclusively by the King of France and 72 virgins.

They can not claim 72 virgins in the marketing anymore ever since I found the place where they live.

There is a huge difference between quantity (number of hours) and quality (actual result).

Yes, I (and it seems others beside me too) feel that you are not doing your homework and/or that you are not doing it correctly. Reasons for feeling that way are, among others:
  • Anyone that follows discussions long enough (a week?), or has just searched, on this or any other detailing forum would see never ending number of praises for Optimum products, including OHC.
  • You start new thread for every single new thing you want to find out even though answer on almost all of them can be easily found if one has done homework the way it is supposed to be done.
  • When others try to help you anyway and answer your questions you shoot them down because you don't want to hear anybody but yourself.
Now that we are on the subject I also feel you should, until things change, restrain yourself from giving advice to people. Some of them were between border of dangerous to downright dangerous. I would hate to see somebody finding out first hand you were wrong. They don't have a way of distinguishing between somebody that talks as if they know and somebody that actually knows. That is why I like forums that have feature that indicates level of knowledge behind member.

Good answer. Even though there isn't a knowledge meter on this forum, its fairly easy to tell after reading a few posts....

Joy, the reason why people (incuding me) are telling you to search because you are posting up these threads that are very general and have been answered in the past...

Now if it were something more specific like "how should I apply Menzerna IP with a PC so it won't dry up" instead of "Menzerna isn't good and won't work for me" you'd have better results. It takes more than reading a few websites to be good at someting. You can either use the suggestions given on these sites to get results while detailing or keep trying to find a miracle product that doesn't exist. It'd be impossible for someone to pick up a bottle of polish and a random pad & machine which'll remove all swirls, work in endlessly and remove like butter... so changing one variable at a time and playing with various products would be the best bet. However, it isn't impossible for someone not to get a product to work right... it all depends. It is a lot easier to have a polish work poorly than having it work really well...

Have you never made a spelling error in your entire life?

You asked the question and I provided the best possible answer with what I read. Yes I have spelling errors but, not when asking someone if they doubt my knowledge.;)

what can i say, i speak 3 languages, sometimes things get mixed up, plus spelling has never been my strong side. Some of the greatest people in the world were considered retarded because they could not read and write well.

I agree with everything Zoran said. Do your homework and listen to the people that you SHOULD be listening too. Give advice when YOU have PERSONAL experience.

This gives me an idea for AG forums. Ill go post it in the off topic section right now!

Would you doubt my knowlage.
Which knowledge?

P.S. Not only is your spelling wrong but you are also missing a question mark.

Back on topic...

I used OP Polish and Compound today. I found the Polish to be harder to remove then SIP and 106FF. However, dusts less then both. OP Compound was easier to remove, and also dusts less then SIP and 106FF. I will continue to use both lines for polishing.
