I'm wanting some more polishes and stuff. Wanted to hear some feedback.

Megs 105
Megs 205
Megs show car glaze #5 or #7
And sealer ???

I've used Meg's 205 and worked great in removing my swirls with a rotary also have #7 glaze and gave it a great shine, I also topped it with I think #27 carnauba wax and finishes off great and has a nice durability

M205 is great... there are way better alternatives to M105. M105 is great at defect removal, but the dusting and tendency to dry like concrete on the paint is just not worth it. I keep some on hand for really heavy duty work... but I tend to go with D300 and MF pads for the majority of my compounding.
 
If your new to detailing I would stay away from 105. 105 can be frustrating for new detailers. I switched to Menzerna it has a longer working time and 205 is a great product very easy to use. For sealants I use Menzerna power lock and SONAX Polymer Net Shield.

What type of vehicle(s) do you work on?
Is it a hobby or business for you?

As for sealant, go with Collinite 845. It is an excellent staple in anyone's inventory.
 
Its a 2nd self owned business. I work on mostly "regular cars and trucks". No BMW's Porsche's or anything like that where I am.

I've read a lot about the menza and other products mentioned in this thread. I hear there are some from those brands that give a lot deeper richer gloss. I will need 1 compound for heavy oxidation 1 for swirls and light scuffs. Or 1 product that does both?
And 1 good polish for after the first or to use on less damaged finishes.
And maybe a finishing glaze or something to finish with that'll leave that show car shine. Something I could finish with for a good "wow" response.

Heavy Cut: Meguiars M101
Fine Cut: Optimum Hyper Polish, Meguiars M205, or Menzerna 4500

Glaze: Chemical Guys Glossworkz Glaze

Protection: Collinite 845

I second this. Fg400 finishes out 9/10 times beautifully for a compound and dusting isnt an issue like 105.. I follow 400 up with 4-4500. And if 400 is too much 2500 yeids has awesome "play time" and again finishes out with great gloss.

I know thats off for your meguires post but I found menzerna way easier to work/learn with.

Sealants power lock is nice but most of the time if I have a car that is going to be sealed most of the time it ends up getting opticoated.

I agree. I love Menzerna products.

I was finishing LSP ready with FG400 with a blue hybrid light cutting pad on my 3401.

So just finish with f400 any good glaze or wax to go on after that any of u recommend for the highest gloss possible

M101 cuts faster, dusts less and finishes better than M105. I find it hilarious that people think M105 is the only heavy cutting compound offered by Meguiar's, not "Meguires" like some kids tend to call it.

We're also forgetting about D300, and for you rotary buffs, M100.

Meguiar's vs Menzerna. Two different abbrasive technologies. When will the battle end? At the end of the day, its about getting results. Some people can get better results by using one brand of polishes vs someone else using the exact same lineup. The polish will do the cutting for you, but its up to you to know how to guide it.
 
The whole SMAT vs DAT debate is really misleading. ALL abrasives diminish over time when friction is applied. Some break down quicker than others.

What really matters for me is getting consistently good results whichever product I prefer. For me I want fast results with easy cleanup. I'm not interested in working a polish until my arms fall off.
