Considering a foam gun or foam cannon

To be honest it depends on the situation. I have both. I use the cannon at home with the gas power washer when I have more dirt to take off and more time to spend on the vehicle. The gun I take with me to the in-laws (8 hour drive in the country) for a wash in their driveway because there is no pressure washer or room to bring two buckets. I bring a grit guard with me and use a garage bucket of my FIL for my rinse bucket.

Some people only have one, but there are times I prefer one over the other and like having both.
 
Love my foam cannon and my knock off foam gun. I'd rather use the cannon due to my truck gets filthy. Plus I have black so I feel it makes it less likely to get scratched. Well in my head anyways. Just b have to have a higher psi pressure washer for the cannon to work also. In the end your choice

I think that's great, you take a foam gun with you when you travel, now that's commitment. Do you get roped into washing the in-laws vehicles also?!?!
 
How about the size of foam gun, is the half gallon necessary or will the quart size work just fine for one vehicle, once a week?
