Things are happening fast here at AG with so much going on. Sometime after this thread was created someone internally came up with the idea to incorporate the name of our TV show with the name for the new class programs and the chosen name became,

I'm replying to this thread from my hotel room in Las Vegas so can't do much more than reply but I would like to say that we are overwhelmed with the number of replies with suggestions to this thread and impressed with everyone's creativity and willingness to help out.

So the idea of letting the AG community help, was basically disregarded? Curious as to when "after the thread was created" it was determined the ideas here were not required. People were giving ideas well after the thread was created. We, unknowingly, were wasting our time? Sounds like it. Perhaps we could've been informed of this decision when it was made so we all could've stopped with our ideas.

So is this the first ever "contest" where the promised prize was never awarded?

Im extremely happy with the people at autogeek, specifically Nick, Meagan and those behind the scenes that help get everything out to us. This is a little disappointing though. Not just for myself. I feel as if we all had our time wasted.

I'm pretty sure someone will get something. As Mike mentioned he's in a hotel room in Vegas so can't do much. Maybe they will pick the submitted name they liked best beside the one they are using. Or maybe a little something for everyone who entered a name? I agree it would have been nice to announce the contest was ended, but I also respect everything they have going on right now and possibly not having the time to spend on the forum that they usually do.
 
If I'm remembering correctly...

The "ACR" nomenclature was initially
announced ~ 2 weeks ago.
