cooking for a new friend, how's this sound?

A quick and easy dessert that adds alittle class would be Creme Brulee. Just buy the Dr. Oetker Mix. They also make a few different Flans, a Caramel Flan, a Chocolate Flan, and the Original Flan. The only thing you really need for the Creme Brulee is a small torch. Everybody likes Creme Brulee. Good luck.

You got that right!! Thanks for the suggestion.

The main course comes out of the oven in about 10 minutes and I still don't have confirmation from her so it looks like the other plate may be going to my Mother. She loves my cooking and will gladly share a good meal like this with me.

I went into this with no expectations from anyone so no harm no foul. I used to be an avid home chef and this is my first attempt to get back into cooking as a hobby. Thanks to all of you for helping to make this a fun thread.

Just got confirmation that she's got a full schedule today with her mom's birthday today but is still going to try to make time later this evening. When I told her just to enjoy herself today and no expectation/pressure from me she replied with "U R Awesome"Im the MAN

She's a good one for sure to give the heads up and her priorities are apparently in order. Told her either she or my mother will enjoy the spoils of my effort. That makes me happy.:hungry:

Didn't mean to get you in trouble. :nomore:
It's all good. 20 years together and a messy kitchen, neither of us are so big on cooking right now. If I was in trouble I'd ask why she has never washed her new car? Im the MAN

I think going out for dessert sounds like a winner, Dave

Ooh, shouldn't have looked at this thread before breakfast! :hungry: I am hungry!

I hope she isn't a vegan for you. I also hope she doesn't eat more than you.:xyxthumbs:

Sounds good though Dave.
