Has anyone tried the Milwaukee M12 buffer?

I'm thinking about getting one for Headlights any maybe just random quick little touch up jobs.

Seems like it would be a lot easier than pumping up the air compressor if i'm just going to be doing small amounts of buffing.

For $200 it wouldn't take many headlight restorations to pay for itself
Whats everyone else thoughts on it?

The more I think about it the more I think it would be pretty useful, I just wish it had a longer battery life

I use my 3 inch air buffer a lot on boats it would be so nice to not have to drag around a air hose
 
I just bought the m12 buffer, Hopefully I'll find some time to try it out this weekend
 
I've been wanting to start restoring a lot more headlights. I'm having trouble finding a good sealant for them though. What do some of you guys use?

I wonder what the thread size is on the backing plates? Can you check it out and let us know? Looks like a tool I'd want to have in my arsenal.

Opti-Lens will hold up well and designed for plastic headlights.

I'll have to look at it but I'm pretty sure its nothing special. It came with the regular hook it backing plate as well as a twist lock one for scotbrite pads. The tool has female threads and they looked the same as my other 3m backing plate I have.

Its awesome, the battery life isn't the greatest. I have the extended life batteries and they work a lot better with it than the normal ones. I did a 24' boat the other day and used one battery to make 2 passes around all the smaller areas on it.

Ok, From doing just a little bit of reading around that seems to be the best one I've found so far. There was a few others but they required a curing light.
