Corolla619 - Scammer

Just received this one from him:

i understand your point of view. but as far as being jerked around. no one jerked you around. you really think i would send you a bottle of 4* wheel cleaner? sorry but i'm not a jerk like that. never have been, never will, especially over what? 40 bucks? i would have just bought a new bottle of ls but i seen you were interested in powerlock, thus the reason for the trade. nothing more, nothing less.

i mean, you said you wanted to use the 4*, is that what you want? i didn't mean to mislabel the packages, things happen, i know you breathe just the way i do making us both humans and prone to mistakes.

sorry if i'm coming off strong but i don't take being accused of screwing someone over lightly.

i'll have him send it (unless you want to play with the 4*), then you can send him his 4*. as i said, i will pay shipping.

i've told you sorry for the mishap. you can be upset but don't accuse me of being shady.

So it really takes over a month to send someone something? Get real dude. You're right, it is sad that it comes to this over $40. Mistake, you're right again. It was a mistake to give you the benefit of the doubt. I told you that I was going to use the wheel cleaner because I'm tired of seeing it sitting on my counter. The person that has the products that I was supposed to receive hasn't still hasn't been funded for shipping either. So congrats, you have a jar of Autoglym HD wax and your bottle of liquid Souveran, oh and a bad name too.

wow. i would never do anything to anyone. never have, never will. say what you want but don't call me a scammer. we have traded before. i told you i would and will straighten it out. sometimes mistakes happen. but no way, no how would i ever screw someone over. as to tampering with the products? i never touched them except to get them out to their destination.

as for a bad name? i know what happened, not what you fathomed up. i told you sorry and it would get straightened out.

it would be different if there was never proof of the products. and as everyone can tell, that is not the case. the shipping labels were mixed up and that is as guilty as i am.

why would i send the other guy your products and you his? for fun, laughs?

see, your jumping to conclusions.

all i can say is sorry for mixing up the shipping labels. but the proof is there that the products are there, just in the wrong place. and i said i am taking care of the shipping via paypal. but you said you won't ship anything until YOU get your products first. pretty stand up of you lol.

it would have already been shipped but i was waiting on your paypal address to do send shipping payment at the same time. he was fine with it but you can't.

so, send me your paypal address so everyone can get their products.

end of story.

This one too sounds oh so familiar...

I sent you the liquid Souveran at the end of July. It is now September 7th and I'm without a brand new bottle of Power Lock and a brand new can of Collinite 476. I have been way more than patient with you and you have left me no choice but to take this public. So what you're saying now is that Snowking has tampered with the products? You have provided excuse after excuse. I don't care that you mixed up labels. I flat out refuse to believe that it takes well over a month to place an order with Autogeek for a new bottle of sealant and a new can of wax, have them shipped to you in the US, and turn right around and ship them back to the East coast. I guarantee you that anyone else on this forum can do the same thing in under 2 weeks time, without excuse after excuse after excuse. At this point I don't want anything from you. I just want everyone to know that you don't live up to your word. End of story.

I did a deal with yeebiz and got the package in 2 days. Stand up guy.
Corolla, sorry, you now have a reputation that is irrepairable. I hope it was worth it for you. We like to think we're friends here.
Friends don't screw friends.

i'm another victim of this guy's inabiltiy to complete an easy transaction. Each pm I get is almost identical to the ones posted on this thread, seems sketchy. Rwright, your stuff will be on it's way tomorrow, with a TRACKING #. That is something I specifically asked this carolla guy for and could not get.

Adam Carolla (born May 27, 1964) is an American radio personality, television host, comedian, and actor. He is currently the host of The Adam Carolla Show...

I would be very weary of that 07 Z-oh-6 guy.:dblthumb2:

I agree! :poke:

On that note, I'd also beware of that CEE DOG character. As a matter of fact, just today I arrived home from work to find a package from him that I didn't even expect or know that was comming. Geeze can you believe the gull of this character sending packages to guys who don't even know their comming, and dosen't even expect anything in return...Geeze whats up with that...lol:props:

BTW: All GREAT products.

I'm here to clear my name! First I would have gotten them there sooner but my dog ate the Natty's Blue. After retrieving that I was only a little behind and it was because of the Labor day weekend that they didn't come sooner.

So you're saying you don't like his package or you do like his package?
Uh oh.... I should probably stop reading here.

I think you got it right there Dana!

That's good stuff man! Does the size of the package matter or just the contents?

I knew I should have stopped reading!

It's not the size of the package that matters. It's whats in the box. :props:

Man, I went to bed too early last night. Looks like I missed the party. The box is definitely the important part.

Sounds like you two need a room to check out the packages and see whats in the box.

Oh my! :nomore:

Honestly don't worry about, save your money. If you have stuff that has been opened, I don't want anything to do with it. Just toss it in the garbage. I will be back home tomorrow night and will box your wheel cleaner up and ship it out Friday. I truly appreciate your effort on this matter.

CEE DOG, sometimes it pays to stay up later. However I'm not feeling it this morning!

Mods please don't close this thread, more information will be added later today.

Thanks for putting this out there but I do not trade at all. I have sent out numerous stuff for free and never once got a thank you and did do one transaction with a member last year and that became a nightmare so I know longer get involved with trading or selling of any products.

On the other had, Sean(bimmersales) has all the Zymols, tons of pads, microfibers, polishes and tire shine for trade. He on the other hand has not had a bad experience with anyone and is willing to get the trading started. Shoot he will even trade some of his BMW's he sales for trade for certain products.

On a positive note I had a great trading experience with

I also have a pending trade with Jeff120. He seemes like a stand up guy.

Same to you, Yeebiz is an honest person. Good person to trade with.

I think we need to start leaving a comment on the persons profile page. Should help from people getting ripped off by dishonest ppl.

The only problem is, you never know what's going on in the other person's mind. It's foggy because it's been a few years, but I recall seeing a link to another automotive forum where a new member gained his reputation with small transactions, building up people's trust. Months later he abused that trust and really took another member through the ringer for a pretty decent chunk of change. I don't remember the specifics, but it was very unfortunate. I hope that doesn't discourage two honest people from working together, but I think people should always be smart and cautious about online transactions, especially when it's not with a known business.

When I trade I am always willing to let they other party get what I send them before they send theirs to me. I'm a pretty mellow guy.

If I get scammed I will chalk it up to a learning experience. Most of the people I have encountered here have been nothing short of amazing. People I have traded with have thrown in more than what was agreed upon.

I know the risks of trading with random strangers and I accept that. Corolla619 is supposed to be sending me something. If he doesn't I hope he enjoys what I sent him.

I can't thank the autogeek community enough. I have been on the internet since the days of 14.4 modems and I have never encountered a better community of people. Every forum has it's jerks but there is a far less percentage of them here. Everyone reading this that knows they are one of the people that makes this community great, reach back and pat yourself on the back. You deserve it!
