Have a 2011 Corvette with a black rag top. When I put it down and then back up it looks like it is getting scuff marks on sides behind the windows. Tried to wash off and still seems to not want to come off. Can someone give me advise on what to do to make it look like when I bought it.

thanks,

Without being there to see your Corvette in person, I'll take a stab and say:

A.) It's possible, and more than likely, the rag top is being scuffed by its rubbing against the upper/lower lock pillar trim.

B.) Cure:
1. re-alignment/re-torqueing of effected interior trim-panels/attachment-screws
2. Still under Warranty...Take your Corvette to an authorized GM service center for further diagnosis and "fix".

Just my taking a 'stab in the dark'.
I'd suggest, and IMO:

Get it looked ASAP...This scuffing may well indeed result in some: Weakening of fibers/fibrous tears/leaking scenarios.

once you get it fixed use Ragtopp or 303's fabric roof kit to keep it looking new and weather resistant too.

Thanks for the help. It is on the sides behind the windows up almost at top just before the roof line.

As I mentioned earlier....It could very well be these areas/trim parts (arrows) causing the scuffing.

IMO...Warranty Issue.

Hope you get it fixed!
