Costco Yellow MF Towels

I purchased a package of the Costco Mf awhile back and the package had blue and yellow towels in it. I think the blue mf feel softer than the yellow ,but have not had any issues with either of them in years .

I use sams club , pro force mf towels. they are 80-20 blend . I got all 4 colors and only use them for designated use. one side is def more plush than the other , which the short nap side is very similar to the green ones u get from ag for free with purchases . I have had no problems with the towels. they r just fine to use on my dd which is an 04 , now if I had some sporty newer vehicle then maybe I'd have some better towels if needed .

The yellow lint devils will never touch my paint or glass.

the sams mf are terrible on glass also . leaves way too much lint on glass. I'd rather use my socks .

I purchased the Costco MF towels though not yellow their bright greenish color and i've been using these for a couple of years .......... first on my MB and now on my Lexus ! Never had scratched nor marred my paint on either cars :xyxthumbs:

I have been using those yellow ones for a few months now. But, in my experience, they quickly lose their soft feeling.

I have now switched over to Vroom microfibers (the orange ones at Target). Much better quality IMO and last longer.
After hearing good things about the Vroom I bought some orange and gray ones. I tried wiping off wax with the orange and they left lint everywhere. I use the gray ones on glass and no lint at all. Haven't touched an orange one in a long time.

They are a great product; for applications, removal, drying and amazingly safe on the paint and they cost about 50 cents each!. Of course you could spend $9.99 dollars per towel from Cobra...your choice.

I like to use the Costco/Sams towels as disposable towels. I hate washing all gunked out towels that I use on wheels and wheel wells. They are so cheap I don't feel guilty chunking when they are dirty.

:iagree:exactly what I use them for.:props:

Does your feet get wet ?

yes my feet get wet , I'm a paraplegic , I have to use my feet to wax and clean my whole vehicle . I hang from a harness in my garage. so easy a caveman could do it, after he stayed at a holiday inn express, and was on 15 min call to geico . no I'm just kidding . but them sams mf's suck for cleaning glass. sorry no offense to anyone. 2 thumbs up to anyone who cares for their vehicle with even one arm .

i use the costco mfs on my jag and my wifes mb. they do a wonderful job and create no problems at all. they remove compounds polishes and glazes equally well with no micro scratches on our flawless finishes. hope this helps.

My neighbor uses these. Everytime I see that he has used them all I see is mf lint. That said I don't know how old or what he uses to wash them.

I use them as disposable towels too. They won’t touch my paint or interior because they lint so bad, even after being washed a few times. If gentle you can get away with using them without marring on SOME paint, but if you think they are safe on all paint you've got another thing coming. These things will put tiny scratches in my black Nissan paint no matter how gently I use them. If you are just caring for your own car, and you know they won't mar, that’s fine, but when you are working on a different car every day, you might as well spend the extra money and get a quality towel that you know won't mar or lint.

I stopped and looked at the sams pro force ones the other day..I think they would be good for Misc stuff..I didnt like the edges and the one package was ripped so i felt them and the edging just felt really jagged.

For harder paints, they work just fine. I do agree, they aren't good for glass though. The Sam's ones are quite a bit more plush and a super value for the money.
