all of you guys here at ag with all of your knowledge have cost me some good money for the products that i use g110, clay, polish, wax, mf, detailing a vehicle. I just wanted to THANK you all it has made my 2008 black sorento look better than i thought it could ever have. it had some minor dealer installed swirles and scratches. Now its all clean and shiney.

I have always found it better to spend $$ on something I liked, versus something I didnt want to. How about it ???

In the long run, all these products pay for themselves. Whether it be the value of the car, or just the money you take in from doing a couple details. The good thing about this hobby is its always going to be around and someone is always wanting their vehicle to be in tip top shape. Though its an expensive hobby, like Killer and Wendel have mentioned, that extra money really makes a world of difference. Enjoy the fun my friend !

I'm the weekend warrior type and started lurking here (and elsewhere) about a year ago. I took the plunge three months ago (last November); almost $800 later I think I'm almost ready to start the next major step in my education...only "need" to spend another C-note to round out my equipment and supplies.

This detailing bug is worse than the "oil bug" I caught a year and a half ago (I have my own personal strategic oil reserve)!

At least I learned how to shop wisely thanks to my wife the coupon queen (even had a coupon for the Sonata we purchased).

Regards,
GEWB

I just finished detailing my suv and it looks great i really loved spending the money it was well worth it.

It's always a great feeling after spending your hard earned money and finding people like this on the forums willing to help others out like they do even if we never get too meet each other. The money doesn't hurt at all after this kind of return .I get a kick out of it now when people passing by my house and ask for a business card when they see me detailing LOL and this is just a hobby for me .May have to move up and do it as a side job to pay for my hobby

Hats off to all of the professional detailers on these sites. Detailing has become a hobby/obsession for me over the last few years. I can't imagine doing this as a profession-it takes me a couple of days to physically recover from a full detail (just the exterior:eek:)!

I sometimes I wonder why I do it, knowing I have hours left to go...

But when it's done, it's so worth it.
