CQuartz Finest...Oh Yeah,it's like glossy glass!

Have you tried putting wax on top of the CQF? If so, how long has it lasted for you?

I'm about to use Wolf's Chemicals Shine and Seal + Hard Body and I'm concerned that I'll have a whole lot of wax that will go to waste...

putting wax on top of a coating completely defeats the attributes that the coatings offer.

Once you use a coating you will see the huge benefits it has over wax's and sealants. A coating has a dry, grippy surface to it that does an amazing job of repelling oil and dirt.

Wax and sealants leave a slick to the touch oily surface that is basically a dust, oil and dirt magnet when compared to a coating. Yes they feel nice to the touch, and work better than nothing, but it basically ends there.

The first time I used a coating, I literally said good-bye to wax's and sealants and only follow up with a coating spray maintenance product like Reload or C1.5.

Its tough to really get a feel and understanding for this until you use it. I though in the beginning as well that I would hate to stop using my wax's and sealants.

I've put wax on top of regular CQ. Looks great, not really concerned about the wax durability too much. I really don't see an oily surface from my waxes or sealants...slick yes, oily..not really.

Also, with CQ, once Reload is applied the surface is pretty slick not grabby.

I have the OC-2 on my car now and apply Permanon at every other wash and it gives the surface that smooth slick feeling however, the sheeting is still great.

The sealant is dry and grippy as mentioned, and water has a problem gripping on the paint...even when the car is dirty.
I love the sealant on my wheels since I have deep barrels, and it makes cleaning them so much easier. It use to take me approx 15 min. per wheel, now it takes 5 min. per wheel tops!

Does anyone know if CarPro will eventually sell the CQF to the public?

I just finished a weekend correction/protection using CQF on a Pontiac G8 and the customer was thrilled at the results.(if I get around to it later today I'll post the pic's).
The water sheeting on my DD has no signs of letting up but of coarse it's only been on the vehicle for a few months.
A vehicle that has CQF applied is very easy to maintain cleaning wise and the anti-marring effect does seem to be valid.
Looking forward to your pics!
