Hey guys,

i just had cquartz finest applied on my white merc.

I was thinking, for some extra gloss to apply reload and Definitive Wax Show Edition Wax....what do you think?

Should i? Anyone tested it? Waxing on top of cquartz finest

If you just had it done it should be very glossy... If anything I'd use Carpro Reflect which is made for topping CQuartz coatings.

No point in adding a wax over Finest IMO. A wax can add to the look, but it covers up the properties of the coating. (Water beading / sheeting / self cleaning / etc.).

I would suggest ReLoad & Hydro2. I Love these 2 over CQ.

Reflect is a finishing polish, not a topper for a coating. I think you meant ReLoad.

Yeah but, a wax also has properties like, water beading, sheeting etc...

Also, thing is that here in Greece, it rains like once a month at max...

Oops yes I did! It's been a long day :buffing:

CarPro Reload will add the water hydrophobic properties your looking for when layered over the top of CQ Finest...

If you want to wax. Go ahead. It is just my opinion that waxing defeats the purpose and reason for using a coating like Finest.

ReLoad adds a great gloss and only enhances what Finest already offers. Try it and if you want more then move on. But for me sticking with the Synergetic effects of the system was the perfect combo.
