This new formula is suppose to repel water spotting. Not sure why it's label say's "AntiAcids",but I don't have heartburn lol:

Well that's good to hear but I wish they would have given us a warning on the original CQuartz not repelling water spots. My wifes front hood is loaded with them from sprinklers at her job site.

C.Quartz Leather... a bit of competition to the Optimum interior coating product that Chris says is forthcoming!

Avi,I had CQuartz'd my DD with the "New Version" last Friday.I did not wash or rinse the DD for 6 days and today I was caught in a rain shower. To my surprise,no water etching when I pulled the car in the garage to dry.I did have some dirt spot's but these were removed with quick rinse from the hose when it stopped raining. So far,I see an improvement from the older CQ version.
I wonder what would be the outcome if I were to rinse (not using my CR Spotless System)the vehicle off with the house hose and let the car dry in the sun? I'm sure there will be some sort of etching but would be curious to see how severe the etching would be? I know this is my curiousity but i'm not brave enough to try-YET

Ahhh cmon Chris, how would we all know if you don't do this test for us. It's only water spots.Feed back please

Ok Ron,You got it.I'll do it tomorrow if it's sunny. It's 8pm here and the suns going down already or i'd be out there for ya lol!

very good , im glad you like it
sunshine is the worst ever for water marks.. remember its not preventing from watermarks to happen, the sun is baking them into any paint!!
its always better not to wash or rinse the car under sunshine.

it will prevent it though, but not under strong sun baking!!

you can try ofcourse....

I guess I'm lucky. Living in Rochester, NY we never have sunshine

Now if I could only convince my wife of this, she thinks washing her car in the hot sun is the best time to do it.

Avi,

When is the clay alternative(second step after IronX) coming out?
i dont quit understand your meaning...
if you mean> if i plan to sell clays,,, not realy for now...
if you talking about another de contamination step, yes !!
Tar X will be luanched soon, there are samples on the way to AG,
TarX is tar remover spray , with very fast reaction , based on natural ingridient active component.... more details later...

i believe after these two steps , there wont be much need for claying.

When you stated re-applying to customers vehicles...did you already have the old version of C Quartz on their cars? Why I am asking, I have the old version on my car, but would like to put the newer version on....think their could be a problem with 2 layers on?

Yes,I already have the "Old Version" on some customers vehicles, including a couple of personal vehicles.Im currently testing the "New Version" on my personal DD.Once I'm satisfied of the enhanced characteristics of the "New Version",I will be layering the customers current CQ with this new version.Layering CQuartz is fine!

Thats the answer I am looking for, reason being is that I applied the old version, cured 12 hours took the car out the next day, it got dirty and I decided to whas it with Do Do Bling shampoo.....read on AG not to wash for 7 days, but thats not on the bottle, so I thought about re applying with the new version....can you top with a sealant or wax too?

Avi recommends topping CQuartz with ReLoad(Sealant that's compatible with CQuartz),you can also top with a Nuba but it's not recommended.
