Mike,
I just purchased a new to me 2018 Chevy Suburban with 8,000 Miles in black. The paint has a lot of swirl marks in it and superficial scratches from what appears to be improper washing habits. I plan to seal the paint with Cquartz UK 3.0 but want to make sure that I am on the right track of thinking with the prep leading up to Cquartz. On the Suburban I traded in, I did the Wolfgang 3 step process and used a Griots 6" orbital polisher to apply everything. I was hoping to reduce some of the steps and use the Black Fire One Step instead of a total swirl remover and a glaze. This is what I was thinking as far as my process.
Through my research, I was thinking this is the correct process and was hoping you could validate it. Attached are photos of the paint and hopefully they show enough to see what I'm working with. Do you think the BF One-Step would suffice or should I go to total swirl remover and a glaze? If there are any steps I'm missing or a step I could eliminate, please let me know. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing back from you.

- Wash
- Iron X
- Clay Bar
- BLack Fire One Step using a white 5.5" LC CCS Smart Pad. I do have orange pads in case the paint is hard or is needed
- CarPro Eraser
- Cquartz
- Reload
