Cquartz UK Hazing Problem

if you used too much pressure with your hand it could remove the coat,
if not, try to soap wash the area , the beading should revive after the Reflect, if it doesnt bead , possibly you removed it.

if you have cquk left , better coat again these areas after reflect,
this time dont wait for flash time, once finished apply start wiping off the residues.

Unfortunately I don't have any CQUK left, so whatever I do I cannot remove the coating that is already on the paint. Would I be ok to use a non abrasive polish? I don't want to give up on this yet.

That being said I may end up just getting another kit of Cqaurtz. One big question though is CQUK compatible with regular CQuartz? Only reason I ask is because it's averaging about 25-30 Celsius around here, and since CQUK is more formulated for colder climates, I figured I would ask. If the two are compatible then I might just polish out the car and apply classic Cquartz.

Reflect has very low abrasives, 4500 grit , its very fine polishing,
most likely you didnt remove it,
cquartz can be applied over cquk, no problem.
wash the area well with soap it should revive the hydrophobic.

keep us posted how did it go for you.

Thanks for the replies Avi! Ok so I actually just purchased another CQUK 30cc bottle, as I plan to recoat my car and coat my mothers SUV with it aswell, so ill be killing two birds with one stone so to speak.
So the plan for my car is:
Wash with Reset
Lightly hit it with IronX
Polish with Reflect (by hand or DA)
Eraser wipedown
Recoat with CQUK x2

And this time I won't wait to buff it off the paint, and I will use a fresh side of the suede MF for each pass (I also picked up a 16x16 10 pack of them aswell).

Cheers

Soooo I have good news, I repolished and applied CQUK the right way, and no more streaks or hazing! I started hand polishing with Reflect but it wasnt doing much so I bumped up to the DA with Reflect and a white foam pad. Took a big longer to polish the car but I figured that was the CQUK that was already on the paint didn't want to go without a fight.
Anyway so I finished polishing and wiped the car down with Eraser, then I applied CQUK. I applied it and buffed IMMEDIATELY after. And I also used a new side of the suede MF's for each panel; I ended going through about 5 towels in total.

One thing to note is the stuff I had on originally was CQUK 2013, I just put on CQUK 2014 which now has more Si02 than the 2013 version so that's a nice bonus!
And another thing is that the CQUK 2013 I had on originally; I had opened the bottle a couple of months beforehand, with the CQUK 2014I just put on I didn't open the bottle until the day of, so maybe the original stuff had lost some of its potency so that's why it was harder to work with.

I decided to only put one layer of CQUK on; I was too tired to do the second layer, so ill be doing that sometime next week, ill give it a couple days for the first coat to fully cure. And also since there isn't any rain until Sunday I didn't bother applying Reload.

So all is well! Thank you very much everyone for helping me out with this problem, especially Avi; you sir showed excellent customer service, and you can now consider me a Carpro convert lol.

Cheers
Phil
