Can somebody please tell me what “IH” means.... in the box of CQUK it says “Apply Reload spray after IH to prevent water spots.” Is this 1 hour? It seems to be an I but it could be a 1.
Thanks!!!

Hi. Since I am going to apply gliss on top I won’t apply reload before that. Can I apply reload on top of gliss after 1 hpur?
Thanks

Correct if applying Gliss and Reload on top of CQUARTZ the order will be as so.
1.Base layer Cquartz

2.Mid layer Gliss( can apply 4 hours after last coat of cquartz)

3.Top layer Reload.( can apply on top of Gliss 12 hours after last coat of Gliss)

I'm about to do the whole Essence + CQ UK 3.0 + Gliss V2 thing, have Reload as well.

As Gliss is a topcoat with beneficial and hydrophobic properties that exceed Reload, methinks Reload on top of Gliss will be a step backwards. Thusly, I'm skipping Reload as a last step at application time, largely based upon the advice of those who have already used the combo. Perhaps I will top with Reload a bit further down the line as the Gliss degrades over time.

Hopefully 'The Guz' will chime in with clarification as he is quite familiar with CarPro stuff, the resident expert if you will.

Breese147 pretty much covered it.

Apply CQUK. Allow 45 -60 min before applying another coat
Apply Gliss 4 hours after the last coat of CQUK. For an additional coat of Gliss wait 1 hour. A second coat is optional.
Wait 12 hours and apply Reload

You don't have to use Reload after Gliss. I would save it for maintenance purposes and enjoy the water behavior that Gliss offers compared to that of Reload. You could mix up some of Merlin's elixir with some Reload and Ech2o for maintenance.

Hi. I already have “blue juice”... can I apply that to my coating?

Yes “blue juice” down the road as maintenance but I wouldn’t use the reload after UK and gliss right away. Imo reload doesn’t help the coating initially but makes the cleaning and properties worse.

A year from now and you want some sort of topper sure reload is fine but still UK should be there still after a year and not really need it anyways

I’m assuming blue juice is Ech2o. If it is then I use it as a drying aid at 1:20 after every wash.

Blue juice:
CarPro Echo2o 1:20 with distilled water
To this I add 3 oz of Reload

This is how I mix it, and I use it as a detailing spray, is it ok? Do you have a better one to share?
Thanks

This information was posted on the CarPro forum by Merlin. Also CarPro's new ready to use detail spray Elixir is out as well.
