CR Spotless Water Deionization Systems

Wash, rinse and go!

CR Spotless Water Systems are portable de-ionization units that produce clean, ultra-purified water for washing your car, boat, motorcycle, or RV. Water purified by the CR Spotless Water Systems contains no minerals and therefore leaves no water spots! Now you can wash you vehicle, spot free rinse, and walk away. No water spots will appear. CR Spotless Water Systems provide the ultimate spot-free car wash!

If you're a car care enthusiast, you already know that towel-drying is a must if you want to prevent water spots. Well, CR Spotless Water Systems is changing that rule.

Water spots occur because all water is full of minerals, like calcium, magnesium, sodium, and various other dissolved mineral salts. You might have heard of total dissolved solids in reference to tap water. All water has them, and they're a real problem for detailers. When water evaporates, it leaves these minerals behind on the vehicle in little rings that we call water spots. Eventually, minerals etch auto paint. The etching requires compounding. It's best to prevent water spots altogether with the CR Spotless Water Systems.

Before CR Spotless Water Systems, you had to towel-dry your vehicle to prevent water spots. We carry many microfiber drying towels that are excellent quality and very safe on paint, but wouldn't it be great if you could skip that step? Just wash, rinse, and go. You can do exactly that with CR Spotless Water Systems.

Dissolved mineral solids are either positively charged cations or negatively charged anions. The exchange resin in the CR Spotless Systems replaces cations with hydrogen. This exchange produces acids that are neutralized by anion exchange resin. The result of this process is hydroxide. Hydrogen plus hydroxide equals pure, clean water.
Without minerals, water just disappears, leaving nothing on the vehicle.

Here's a list of some of the benefits of CR Spotless Water Systems:

  • You save time because there's no need to towel-dry!
  • You eliminate the risk of towel-induced paint marring, like swirls and fine scratches.
  • By preventing water spots, you're also preventing etching. Below-surface paint damage requires time-consuming compounding and, in some cases, paint repair. CR Spotless Water Systems save your paint!

You've seen how water spots cloud up a windshield with rough, scaly minerals. CR Spotless Water Systems prevent water spots all over your vehicle. Use CR Spotless Water Systems to wash household windows, too. It's nearly impossible to dry exterior, second story windows and now you don't have to.

CR Spotless Water Systems are excellent for individuals and for detailing businesses. Unlike some water purifying systems, the CR Spotless Water Systems generate plenty of clean water to give your vehicle a thorough wash. Choose from 100 gallon medium output units for personal use or opt for the high output 300 gallon units for professional detailing. Wall-mounted and portable systems are available.

CR Spotless Water Systems are easy to use. Hook the system up to your water hose. As water flows through the system, it is automatically "cleaned" of dissolved solids. The water that exits your nozzle is clean, de-ionized water that will not cause water spots!

CR Spotless Water Systems work with replaceable resin cartridges. The TDS meter on the system gives you an accurate reading of the total dissolved solids in the water. When it reads 30 ppm or more, the cartridges need to be changed. An included water restrictor maintains the optimal flow rate of water to ensure that it is thoroughly cleaned as it passes through the resins.

CR Spotless Systems have built-in TDS meters to indicate when the resin needs to be replaced.

CR Spotless Water Systems are not just for mobile detailers. Anyone who has ever tried to remove water spots from any surface will find a use for a CR Spotless Water System. Clean household windows, outdoor furniture, cars, boats, RVs, motorcycles, and ATVs. Easy access to clean, de-ionized water will change how you clean! Save time and enjoy a clean, spot-free vehicle.

Question #1: I see there are 'CR Spotless Replacement Cartidges' as well as 'CR Spotless Replacement Resin' : Why would anyone wanna put out the extra $$ for the whole cartridge replacement if the resin replacement baggie is so easy ?

Question #2: Would this thing be an applicable purchase item for a discount such as my birthday percentage discount?

That said, I gotta admit that this thing is ultra-tantalizing

BTW: my bankroll hates this place

The replacement resin is easy to put in the cartridge and is more cost effective so reusing the cartridges and refilling the resin makes more sense. Of course if you ever had a damaged cartridge and needed to replace it down the road, they are also available.

Discount codes do not apply to CR Spotless products but you can use the ago code for Free UPS Ground Shipping within the 48 contiguous United States.

I don't like to be cynical but I'd love to see documentation of someone's car being washed with this and then left un-toweled in the sun to dry.

How great would it be to be able to wash car #1, walk away and proceed to wash car #2, without the drying step from car #1's wash to slow you down!

The water is ultra-purified. With the absense of minerals in the water and as long as there is no dirt, dust or soap film left on the car, the water evaporates leaving no spots behind. This is a great item. Wish I had it back when I was detailing, what a time saver! At least I can enjoy it in the garage on my car.

Trust me this product has been proven my many pro's, has been around awhile now and is one of the top deionization systems out for use on washing cars. I know of a few detalers that dont ever dry the cars off now but just air dry using this system as a final rinse.

I have not used this system but I know we have a lot of members that have, and hopefully they can chime in with their experiences.

I always buy the bulk resin but just this past weekend I had to refill both cartridges (I tend to rotate cartidges but this time I had to do both). I walked away for 2 minutes, sure enough one cartridge fell over and cracked. An empty cartridge is $15. But for convenience some may buy the prefilled, I rather use a scoop to refill it myself.

Here's another question: what's the difference between the treated water that this system produces and distilled water? Same?

The end result is similar, pure water, just the process is different. Distillation involves boiling the water and capturing the condensed vapors. When the water vapor cools and turns into liquid once more, you have purified water free of solids.

So this would also be a nice system for those of us who wanna do an ONR wash sometimes. Right now I stop at the grocery store and pick up 3 gallons of distilled water for that purpose.

DI water used with a product like Meguiar's Last Touch makes a fantastic quick detailer for a dusty vehicle.

I've not tried it with ONR. I love ONR as it is, maybe it could work even better?

Are you going to carry the much cheaper refill option of 1 cubic foot drums? Are they going to be priced the same as CR spotless online and the free shipping?

Cheers,
GREG

Hi Greg,

I will check on that item and post back here with the answer. Please allow a day or two to get the information that I need.

Thanks!

Does anyone know how many washes on average can we expect to get out of this sytem before having to refill?

Here is a little chart I found.
Expected Yield:

Input TDS Level Expected Yield (# of Gallons)

50 ppm 1600 gallons
100 ppm 800 gallons
200 ppm 400 gallons
400 ppm 200 gallons

Hope that helps...TDS stands for "Total Desolved solids"

Thanks. Any idea how much water is used on a typical 2 bucket wash and rinse? Just trying to figure out cost per wash on this thing.

this is one product I have tried to wait patiently for ... I am more than willing to try one for the forums review.

yet another great addition to some new products at AG. who's the brain in ordering all these new products? i say give em' a raise! keep the new products a coming!
