Cracked wax!

I think all the boys have given good advice, don't heat it, or you will alter its properties.

Just use it, massage an applicator into it, you'll see it all coming together again, and there's no change in it's properties.

I've seen this from Simoniz, to Blue Coral, to Nu Look, to Collinite, to Classic Slipstream, to Trewax, to basically every other hard paste wax, that this can occur commonly, it's not a fault, or a defect of the product.

Don't heat up the wax as it can change the property's of it. I have wax I've dropped that's spilt 3 or 4 ways just leave it in the tub and it will be fine. Its not really a issue as its pretty much in place in the tub. So its not going anywhere.

:iagree:it's fine, use it as is.

Coolness!! I think I am going to buy that next once I use up all the Dodo Juice Supernatural Wax. It's a little pricey but I will give that a go!

Thanks for the input.

:xyxthumbs:

Meh, I have it, I don't feel it's worth the $$$ just my opinion. Many just as good for less money, Souveran, the DoDo's, etc. If I were to spend that kind of money again it would be for Fuzion or Black Fire Black Ice, which I have both and fine to be superior to CG CD, especially in the durability side. Hope that helps. Plus on Fuzion you get a free refill! Black Ice would look awesome on your ride, and a little goes along way when applied by machine. I use my PC with a 4" black pad.

I've got wax in the past that was cracked. I have called two different companies and were told my both to remelt the wax in a double boiler and repour it back into the container. I've remelted 2 and both came out looking great and still provide great protection. After reading the post it may have changed properties I'm not sure, not a chemist. I know that the companies both told me that it would not hurt the wax in any way to melt it and pour it back in the container.
