Great video and music.Excellent results achived. I love optimum products. What pads and products did you use for paint correction? You don't have a problem foaming the car with the sun out and the soap drying on the car?

Thank you. I used Menzerna Intensive Polish paired with a Lake Country orange pad for the compounding. For the polishing used Menzerna Final Polish on a white Lake Country pad.

Direct sunllight can be an issue on warmer days or if the vehicle has been baking in the sun all day prior to washing. Luckily It was only in the 70's yesterday and I didn't have any issues performing a mid-day wash.

Question regarding the rupes, does it vibrate like the other DAs such as the gg6? I hate the vibration.

For the last four years I have been using the PCXP and the vibration would cause my fingers to go numb on big jobs. The Rupes is much smoother than the Porter Cable and well worth the price. I have used the Rupes for roughly 20 hours since purchasing it and haven't experienced anymore numbness in my fingers.

Now whenever I have to use the PCXP for the tight spots and headlight corrections it feels like a punishment. I think my next big purchase will be the pneumatic Rupes and an air compressor to power it.

Nice work Trevor and very nice video.

But is that your typical work area when polishing paint?

Thank you Marco.

I polish in my two car garage most 75% of the time. One bay is dedicated to detailing and is equipped with fluorescent lighting. Sometimes I do have to polish in my driveway though when I detail oversized vehicles such as Escalades or lifted trucks. When polishing such vehicles I park the vehicle so that it's perpendicular to the sun. That way one side is always cool and you don't have any issues with panel heat drying out your polishes.

Top job buddy !

Thanks for watching. I hope to have some more Detailing videos in a few weeks.
Nice work and video

Thank you.

Very nice video. I enjoyed it.

Car looks great BTW.

Thank you for the support. It was a lot of hard work but the end result was worth it. I spent roughly 10 hours between polishing and coating this Civic.
