Critique My Flyer Please :)

Shampooing, i take is a genral term the average person uses to have all capreting, Seats deep cleaned removing all stains. Dont matter how you do it as long as you get the reults

It looks good. I think the too many sparkles in the logo is probably right. I'd cut them down to maybe 1 each word or something.

I also think you may be offering too much in your Bronze package. For example in my base package I do not shampoo carpets, or treat exterior trim, etc. It just seems like you are doing a lot for only $100. If you want to include all those items then I'd up your price some. Don't sell yourself short.

I would agree with this. Your bronze package is only $25 more then your full interior package. You basically get a full interior then for $25 you can have a wash and wax. I would go up on the price, or remove something like carpet shampooing.

I have no experience in this area, so take this with a grain of salt (or a pinch of salt, a slice of lime, and a shot of tequila, lol).

I would consider changing 'full exterior detail' to 'Gold Package', and make the first item 'all bronze package items, PLUS", then list the extra steps.

Just a thought. What you have looks good. If it works for you, it's fine.

put www. in front of website

I'd disagree, I like the look without it.

Besides, all the 'modern' web browsers will automatically add it for you and people have been around the net enough at this point to know that is a web site address. Had this been the 90's then yes you would have needed the whole address, but not anymore.

I'd agree, I think it is just something with the titles of the packages that just isn't 'sound/look correct'.

The bronze package just doesn't seem to fit in. You have the full interior the full exterior then all of a sudden this bronze package is listed. Just doesn't seem to flow right. Hopefully you can see what I'm saying, it's kind of hard to explain in a post.

I don't know what else to do to the interior other than what I mentioned.

I was talking to someone else about how if I raise the price I think no one will buy it. You are saying it will take 3 hours to shampoo the carpets, I estimated 1 hour. I don't really know. All of this just seems like an extreme investment for my clients; so extreme that they won't bother. This is the conflict I am having right now.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but it sounds like you need more experience before you offer the service. If you have some family or friends vehicles that you could work on for free or at a really reduced price, I would suggest it. This way you can find your groove and start working on time. Time yourself for each section of the interior, don't guess. After you record your time set a goal for the next car of equal size and try to beat it but don't cut corners. Deep cleaning carpet will take longer than any other section so be prepared for that. Best of luck to you :)

Great advice! Shampooing carpets can be a real time consuming effort...especially to get all the soap residue out of the carpets...some soaps or cleaners just don't seem to want to come out as easily.

In the Bronze package I took away the carpet shampooing.

As for naming the full exterior detail the gold package, this conflicts with the gold package I already have. So should I put down the Gold package instead or what?

I have the following packages:
Bronze, Silver, Gold, Full Interior (only interior), Full Exterior (only exterior)

As for timing myself cleaning the carpet, you are right. I was going to time myself doing everything to my cousin's car, but my uncle bailed on me :( Hopefully, I can get him to bring the car soon! Timing for me, especially in this stage is an issue since I can't price it accurately or tell the customer how long it will take.

Your flyer, to me anyways, appears to state that you only have a bronze package. I think that's why people are asking that you change the name of your other packages to silver and gold. Instead of saying "Ask us about other packages" you might state "Ask us about our silver and gold packages" if you aren't going to place them on the flyer. Or actually add the silver and gold packages to the flyer but for the silver package just state:

"Bronze package PLUS
- Carpet shampooed
- ????
- ????"

and for the gold package state:

"Silver package PLUS
- ????
- ????"

This way you don't have to list everything out again, and the people know right away what services you offer. Then again, just staing they should contact you for info on the silver/gold packages will possibly get your phone ringing more, where if you're a good salesman and/or you sound honest, they might be more willing to give you their business.

Here is the new flyer with all the packages..I worry to much over this..

I think you should consider removing the interior package altogether, or increase the price of your bronze package. Lets do a direct comparison:

Bronze and Interior packages both receive
- Interior vacuumed and wiped down
- Windows cleaned
- Carpets shampooed
- Dash is dressed with UV protectant
- Leather is cleaned and conditioned

For an additional $25 with the Bronze Package, you get
- Car washed with 2 bucket method
- Door jambs, trunk jambs, hood jambs and gas door are cleaned
- Wheels cleaned
- Tires dressed
- Wheel wells cleaned and dressed
- Exhaust tips polished
- All rubber and plastic trim dressed with UV protectant
- 1 layer of paint sealant or wax

There's no way you're going to get anyone buying your interior package when they can spend another $25 for a fully cleaned, dressed, and waxed exterior. It's a no brainer, and I don't think you should offer that much extra work for $25. That's just my honest opinion.

Yea, me neither. I just wanted a lower entry point for people. Maybe I should delete some stuff..i'm not sure what.

I might delete it all together like you said..that's another option.

Thanks for your help! :props:

Time yourself for the whole interior, not just the carpet. Say you have access to 2 cars similar in size, on the first car break each section down and time yourself doing each task. Then take your second car and time yourself on the whole detail at once, then compare your results. Think back on each detail and look for ways to improve your speed - do your chemicals cut fast enough, are you scrubbing with a towel when you should be scrubbing with a brush, are you using the right product for the task at hand? Stuff like this. The carpet cleaning is a different animal, it's going to take some practice making sure you use the right products and process. Make sure you're not saturating the carpet making it too difficult to extract or take too long to dry. Back to chemicals, make sure you're using them correctly. If you have any doubts contact the manufacturer.

Here's an example, specifically posts #4, 7, and 8:
