I am currently doing a show truck for Cummins Motor Inc. It is a Semi with a cargo bed. They want it to look as shiny as new paint and said charge for whatever needs done. Its gonna be a long haul, but with all the product I am using to get the road wear and restore the shine I am thinking $45/hr. How does that sound to all my AG buddies? Will be a 6-8 hour job for me and my partner.

$45/HR doesn't sound unreasonable at all considering it's going to require you to work on more difficult areas to access that would be easy to reach on say, a MINI Cooper. LOL Take lots of before and after pics!
 
With two detailers 6-8 hours sounds about right. Hourly rate sounds fine too me but I think it's your client that needs to approve it! I base mine on $40 per hour but I work by myself and only do a limited amount of vehicles. Referral only for new ones.
 
I mentioned the price to the manager he said OK if you need a higher let me know. Only bad thing is since it has test parts on it no pictures allowed :(
