Custom Car Builder Competition!



At this year's Detail Fest we're excited to announce the first Detail Fest Custom Car Builder Competition!! Six top builders from across America will be bringing their cars to Detail Fest to compete for the Detail Fest Custom Car Builder Competition Trophy and the winner will be featured on our TV show, Competition Ready.

This is just another reason you need to clear your schedule and make your travel arrangements to be a the 11th Annual 2016 Detail Fest!

Here are the builders that will be competing in the first Detail Fest Custom Car Builder Competition!.


Kyle Tucker (Detroit Speed) - 1969 Dodge Charger

Brian Finch (Finch Performance) - 1963 Corvette Split Window Corvette

Jason & Lonny Childress (Gateway Classic Mustang) - 1971 Mustang Fastback Pro Touring

Kevin King (Ghostworks Garage -Year One) - 1973 Pontiac Trans Am

Bobby Alloway (Alloway's Hot Rod Shop) - 1937 Chevy Coupe

Andy Leach (Cal Automotive Creations) - ’40 Ford Coupe (RIDLER Award Winner)


And here are the car that will be here at Autogeek for Detail Fest!

Each of these builders will be loading up their car hauling trailers and bringing the team and their talent to Autogeek's Detail Fest to be a part of the best Detail Fest ever!

I'm going to be putting together teams to detail these 6 cars on Friday and this is also going to be filmed for our TV show.

I'm going to need around 18 people for this project.

  1. Alumni students of Autogeek's detailing classes
  2. Members of the this forum
  3. IDA Members

2. I'm a long time member of this forum. (Join Date: 12-16-2009)
3. I'm a IDA member both Certified Detailer (CD) and Skills Validated (SV)

If I can help, let me know when, and I will check to see if I can make it.
I would be honored to participate.
 
Mike, I will be at Detail Fest and was in your July 2015 Boot Camp class. Unless someone has hacked my account, I should be in good standing on this forum. I plan on joining IDA when I get back from DF.
