This past weekend I had the pleasure of detailing this beautiful bike. I'm not sure what type of bike it exactly is due to 1) I'm not good with telling the differences in bikes, and 2) it's been completely customized. I do know it has the screaming eagle motor. That's about it. lol.

The bike was in really good shape and was just really dusty and lots of water spots on the chrome. Took me about 3 hours total from arrival to driving away.

Products Used

ONR Wash
OPC Diluted 5:1- Used this after the ONR wash to strip the bike. Also to clean the tires and some grease and dirt that was caked up.
DP Clay
ONR - Diluted to Clay lube strength
P21s metal polish
S100 Engine Brightener
Collinite 845

Equipment Used

Various MFs
Various Brushes
Q-Tips
Leaf Blower
Pinnacle Yellow applicator

Thanks guy! I do love the wheels on this bike as well. Very easy to clean! Nothing like the spoke wheels I worked on a couple weeks ago.

That came out gorgeous Jason!!

Some nice work you've been posting here the last couple of weeks... Keep them coming!! :props:

Thanks Bobby! I've been keeping busy that's for sure. Which is a good thing. Business is doing well considering I'm only part time. Much busier than last year already. But it helps that I have a website now I think too.

I don't have any cool rides coming up yet. Just some daily driver clean ups. I actually hooked up with the owner of New England Corvette. His business is renting out his ZR1 Vette. I was over at his place checking out his car and the truck he uses to tow it around. I'm going to be doing a 1-step correction on the truck early next month. And if I do a good job I'll be getting all the detail business for his Vette. Which it's not a fleet or anything but always good to make some new connections. Plus it's a sweet Vette and maybe I can get him to let me take it for a ride! :props:

Looks like you are really moving along pretty well Jason. Very inspiring for a guy who is on the fence about starting an actual business.

Awesome work.

Well it's easy for me to say that I'm busy right now. My detailing doesn't pay my bills and I'm not dependent on it. If/when I take this full time will be the real test. I have no doubt that I can make myself successful. I have the drive to do it. I just need to ensure all my bills are in order and I have plenty of money in savings before I can go full time. Maybe next year! We'll see.

Looks like an early 2000-something H-D Softail Deuce, S&S carb, Screaming Eagle heads, Wide Glide front end and 2-into-1 pipes that are undoubtedly LOUD! It's impossible to keep the collector going into the megaphone exhaust from discoloring badly, heat wrap is a cost-effective coverup.

Looks like a nice, easy job compared to the nooks and crannies and aluminum polishing on the Road King.

Nice work! That S100 Engine Brightener works nice, huh? :xyxthumbs:

Much easier than the Road King! And I love the S100 engine brightener! I'll be stocking up on it and luckily I can get it at the HD shop in the next town over.

Jason, that is a hot looking bike and you got it looking great! I love those wheels too. Bonus that they're easy to clean!
