Customer Service!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry, I think somehow I've stumbled upon the " I'm PMSing and need to vent" forum.
Nope checked again it's AG.
The bottom line is, if you're happy with the service and all of the amenities brought to the table by AG, continue to use them. If not find someone you're happy with.
Personally, I've had nothing but great service, pricing and delivery with AG. I have recommended, and will continue to recommend this site to anyone who is interested in car care.
I won't buy my products anywhere else but AG. :dblthumb2:

What kid of stick did you buy through the HMonkey?? You ought to try buying stuff from Great Skate in Buffalo, NY; Kemps Hockey in Albany, NY or Peranis Hockey World in Flint, MI. These guys have everything and will typically price match. I oughta know...........:)

Dixinormus I understand what you're trying to say but let me give you an example.
Today I placed three orders on different sites.
I order a part for my Subaru from genuinesubaruparts.com I've been dealing with this company since 04. I placed this order at 6:03am mountain time. I received an email thanking me for placing an order ~ 15 min after my order and that was it.

My secong order was from hockeymonkey.com I order a new hockey stick and once I again all I got was a email confirmation for my order.

My last purchase was from AG ~9am and so far I have 4 emails. One for thanking me for the order, 2nd for giving me a detailed description of my order and now I have an email from them notifiying me that my order has been shipped also followed by an email from UPS telling me the same thing.

Granted that these emails might be generated by a computer. But by getting these emails it makes me feel that my order is valued and is taken care. My order wasn't the biggest and knowing that it was shipped the same day I order it makes me feel valued as a customer and that's something that's important to me.

I hope my post makes sense.

your post makes perfect sense to me now and I for one will also become a dedicated and loyal customer of AGO. I only hope that my initial response to your original post now makes sense to you as well. All I was getting at was hearing some really great examples of customer service. I will show you what I mean after I place my initial order. It is going to be LARGE because I want to buy everything and I am ther type that needs a little hand holding

Glad you received great customer service, I know it’s what you should expect when you order but I hope we go above and beyond your expectations when you deal with us. We strive to be top notch and if you are dealing with Penny you will get the best. Penny takes care of a lot of our customer service, even when she gets buried in requests, changes, emails, voice mails, she still treats every customer like it will be her only one that day. And that is how we like to do business at Autogeek! We appreciate each and every one of you as our customers and we will work hard to keep you as a customer! :kiss:
 
Big Dix does make some valid points. I ordered a navigation unit on the net not long ago, they shipped it to my front door. Great! They did what I paid them to do, they gladly took my money. The unit broke 9 months later, the promptly sent me a new one. To me, thats customer service. I consider customer service when things go wrong, not when things go right.

None of us need customer service when things go right. That's just service. It's when customer service comes into play that you see the true value of a company. The fact that you rarely need customer service at AG is the part that makes it a good company. The fact that customer service handles things the way they do makes AG a GREAT company.

Thanks for your input and we can all argue until we're blue in the face on definition of Customer Service. 99.99% of people on this for are grateful for AG customer service and I just posted another incident where AG did just that provided excellent customer service. Just like you said "To me, that’s customer service. I consider customer service when things go wrong, not when things go right" in my eyes I see it a bit different. By getting great customer service all the way around and on the front end of transaction I know that if anything ever goes wrong I can count on AG to make it right with out any inconvenience to me.
 
I don't mine paying more for good service, If only AG have a tip option during checkout. Hehehe
 
AG is a great place, but i only recevied one E-Mail witch is fine for me i don't need to know ever step my package makes during it's shipment. AG is doing a great job with hiring all excellent people any Company will do great as a team of good people. Keep up the Excellent work AG u all doing a very good job.:dblthumb2:
 
I just drop another bag in AG. They really stand by their words, they"ll meet everyone's promo and price. I got 15% and priced match on a PCxp. Awsome!!!
 
A couple weeks ago I ordered a Griot's 6" and 3" Random orbital Polishers...Well today while using the 6"er..grease started comming out from around the shaft and it stop spinning...I Called AG and they will ship a new one out today...Should have it Friday...NO Hassle -Can't BEAT that for service....
