Cyclo arrived

Well, no sense buying anything anymore.

I'll just drive to your place and pay you to detail my Civic haha. Man that machine is big. Looks like you need one of those mechanical arms to hold it up like the huge plasma rifles in Aliens...

Which would rule btw :righton:

:iagree: This was the big drive for me to purchase the Cyclo, I don't mind the PC but the vibration just got to me besides I'm hoping to improve my skills with the rotary and once I master the rotary (many months for that) I will use the Cyclo on "special" vehicles. I'm looking forward on using the Cyclo, such a sweet machine. I had to turn it on and see how she talks to me ;) oh by the way she (the Cyclo) told me her name is Linda. Linda in spanish means gorgeous :D

So my Metabo is Lola and my Cyclo is Linda. Lola, Linda and I have a long road to travel and looking forward to it. I love my two new females :D

Yes, I'm hooked :o .....:righton:

Try this test, first use the LC velcro pads on the Cyclo and get a real good feel for how the machine vibrates. Then change over to the Edge system and I guarantee that will be the last time you use velcro on your Cyclo.

Thanks for the tip, I was told by a Cyclo user that if you use the Lake Country pads that I would get more vibration. I will give it a try and compare. Thanks for letting me know, so looking forward to use the Cyclo.

I can vouch for that statement. I handled two Cyclo's at Detailfest, one with velcro and one with the Edge system and it was NIGHT and DAY difference (no lie).

The Cyclo is simply awesome!

The aluminum finish will tarnish and scratch but is just meant for light weight and heavy abuse. I love it!

To me, simply the perfect polishing machine.

So does that mean you will be replacing/phasing out your PC in favor of the Cyclo? What about vs a quality rotary? You ever consider using a rotary in your business?

I'll be heading to the garage in a few minuets and I'm pumped to use the Cyclo. You know when I first joined this place I had a hard time taking peoples advise, I think it was a trust issue but now. Man I love hearing members testimonial, means a lot to me. I wouldn't purchase certain products with out the feed back from members here. So thank you for the honest opinion.

I research anything I purchase first and when I feel I've educated my self enough on the product I'm going to purchase I jump in. But that's just me.

Right Nica?

less vibration with Edge pads

All the talk about how much less vibration the Cyclo has with the
edge pads, I was wondering if the same reduction in vibration is had while
using the PC with Edge pads? I have two PC's now and have been wondering if I would find
the Cyclo has equal maneuverability as it does seem to to be a bit more
awkward looking do to it's rather broad footprint. I love trying different products, and I'll buy one in a minute if I can feel it's money well spent. Do you folks out there think it does a noticeably better job or just a different
way of doing the same job.
This is the best site of it's type that I've have found to date, and I'm using
this info to help me place my first order with Autogeek in the next week or two. Thanks to all who make this site great.

Well finally got that Toyota done...small little car = bad...and I mean extremely bad scratches. Man I just finished it, I'll be getting up for work in a few hours lol. The vehicle I detailed is a co-worker of mine so I phoned him up for two reasons. One, was to get permission to wetsand and the second, was to ask if he prefer to receive the car tomorrow at work. He has my Jeep and he didn't mind driving the beater around. So since I'm giving it back to the owner tomorrow I went the extra mile on it...for the practice of course. So sweet...first time wetsanding and...oh....I can't give it all away. I'll be posting pictures and write up soon....so late it's 12:35AM...lol...

Oh before I go,

"Watch out! Nica is a horny little booger. He is not going to do cars for free....
ROFLMAO
Right Nica?"

You must have me mistaken with someone else Lauren hahahaha lol...not even I can keep a straight face hahahaha...lol..teasing. I'm serious though about the garage thing....see not laughing! Oh and you know me Lauren, always trying to keep it funny....I try to be serious once in a wile but then I go back to being funny...well at least I try to be funny.

Okay well I'll post the Toyota detail and how Linda (Cyclo) and I did.
