So I have another one for you guys today. I decided to do my moms car out of good will. I did a quick polish and seal with my own AIO. Then I waxed it twice and it came out great. I polished it completely over christmas break so it was in pretty good shape after I cleaned it off (it was really filthy). I also sealed the wheels with Poorboys as well and dressed the tires.

Btw, sorry I messed up on the color: its cyprus green, quite a beautifil color IMO

Products used:
PC 7424
Two bucket wash
Megs Gold Class Shampoo
CCS grey pad
AIO
Black Magic matte
Poorboys wheel sealant (3 coats)
Fitz metal polish (exhaust tips)
Cleaner wax
Synthetic wax
303 Protectant (engine)
Here are the pictures:

I know, it felt sinful but the car is going to be used every day and it will look like like the first time my mom takes it out. When I do normal washes, I wash and protect them I swear :)

Plus its raining now. grrr

WOW! That's looking really nice.

So what else have you used to clean that engine apart from protecting with 303? I was especially impressed with the engine...WOW!!!

Cheers,
Matt.

I actually used water only... It was a little dusty with some dirt collecting in the nooks and crannies but I just used a tooth brush with some water, spent 10 minutes scrubbing the parts and then sprayed some more water on and used a microfiber towel to dry it all. I didnt want to hose it down or use solvents because of the amount of electronics that are in the engine bay...

She doesnt even care anymore, since I do this quite a bit. I have to go back to my dads Pontiac G6 gt, we are getting it appraised because he wants a black Lexus RX400h... Black=uh oh

Please post befores and afters. Your work shows a professional touch. I'm still learning and the smallest details of information mean a lot to me. Probably to a lot of others as well!

Wow, only water.

Because that's the same issue I have, I don't want to wet the engine bay too much due to the electronics either, and mine too is only dusty so I'll give a spray bottle with water a try.

I actually used Mothers Carnauba Cleaner wax via PC and CCS grey pad, and then it was topped with p21s 100%. I just got my order of Chemical Guys mild clay bar and bottle of Luber so I will put a coat of Collinite 915 on instead, and then top it off with Pinnacle Sig. Series 2.

Well, the mothers is kind of cheap haha. I was always amazed how well it beads (for a week) but it does a good job of topping off the paint and is a good base for a LSP. I use Collinite 915 on most of my clients' cars.
